Anyone know whats the RJ45 for? is that to hardwire into a recording box? would it work with a powerline to save taking the cat cable all over the house to get to the camera?

it is for connecting to your router so you can view the camera either on your local computer or via a smartphone app.

Instead of wifi. I have a similar camera connected with rj45 for faster downloads from it.

You can use it as Wi-fi or “wired your network”
ps - only lets you put 1 in your amazon basket at that price :-(
"Remote viewing and control" is it motorised then?
I bought one last week wasn't too impressed with it sent it back. For the price it's good but I was disappointed.
