Hi
thought this may be of interest to some that Iceland are selling Warburtons bread ( regular size ) for £1.
The deal was on when I visited my local Leigh store a few days ago so assuming it's still on and at other stores.

Yes i noticed the week previous, but as no one had posted it here and as id been just visited Asda where it was £1.35 there oO i thought it might be worthwhile mentioning it

There also doing the warburtons farmhouse for £1 too. I love this bread so bought some to freeze too :-)

Can't stand frozen bread so cold!

Only joking heat added!

u can buy it for £1 from my corner shop.

When did Warburtons become a premium brand? I'm sure several years ago it was just a budget brand you buy from Aldi etc.

Is this special? You can usually get a Warburtons or one exactly like it from another "family baker" [usually a multinational like allied bakeries] at any supermarket for 70p-90p.

After all, Warburton is just an abbreviation for "Whorrrr - Burtons" - another marketing trick from the makers of Wagon Wheels and Jammie Dodgers

I always prefer Warburtons myself
in comparison a medium sliced at Sainsburys is £1.39, Asda £1.35, Tesco £1.39 and Ocado £1.39 so I'd think £1 is a good price myself.
