£1.99 for the first issue which comes 3 Primaris Space Marine Intercessors, 3 paints and a brush.

The paints alone RRP at around £2.50 each.

Sold out in some places, but GW, newsagents and large supermarkets will carry it.

The total subscribtion package also works out as quite a saving on buying models individually.

I’d check your local WH Smith, this came out last Wednesday so likely sold out.

Yes, WHSmith was sold out in my City, as was GW, but the newsagent opposite GW had some still in. People seem to be bulk buying them because they far outweigh the RRP of even the individual items.

Was quite a few in Asda Wigan yesterday
If you're interested in this, get it quickly before multiple copies are snapped up by people who are already in the hobby.
I picked up three today (chester GW). The max I was allowed to buy otherwise I would have cleared the shelf. But cant complain, will keep my three kids happy for a few hours.
none in my local will have a look around town tomorrow
I think you can buy issue one online.
This can become quite an expensive hobby, watch out!
Picked up two over the weekend, great deal, cheers

I've heard bad things about the company, but subscribing for Issue 2 for £5 gets you Issue 3 and a kit of clippers, mould line remover and glue so that might be worth a punt too

The magazine company?

The magazine company?

Yeah, Hachette Partworks, the company that distribute the whole thing
Used to play 40k Feral Orks but GW changed the rules and they became obsolete.

I'm over halfway through the Warhammer 40K novels collection from Hachette and they've been great so far.

Did the DC graphic novel collection from Eaglemoss and they were awful! Took aaaaaages to respond to CS queries (if at all), bumped up the price halfway through when they knew people would carry on rather than be left with only half a collection, then finally, just before the end they added another 30 or so issues stating "we listen to our customers", I was never asked!

I'd go with Hachette again, I'd think twice about Eaglemoss!

I'm really tempted with this. Just started getting into Kill Team, this would expand my armies and maybe encourage me to paint them
for anyone considering subscribing. there are 80 issues in total, adding up to £630.20 over 18 months.

Yes, it’s a lot but also a big saving according to this blog: millests.blogspot.com/201…tml
Thinking of subscribing a little while. Any idea how painful it will be to cancel the subscription?

The main problem I had with Hachette was trying to cancel the 40k legends. Their call centres are based in India and the connection was awful, was very difficult to get them to understand what I wanted, and I didn't get any confirmation, they just stopped which isn't ideal when you need to cancel 28 days in advance. I doubt they've changed since then.

Saying that, I'm still gonna subscribe for a one off for the freebies :P

Issue 1 is a bargain but after that it’s the usual problem with these part works, not sure £32 a month is such a good deal

If you collect these armies it is - See the link i posted earlier in comments. Someone did the maths on the whole colelction.
any tips on cancellations?
I already have issue 1 and wanted to subscribe for Issue 2 & 3 + modeling kit and cancel straight after but the whole 28 day thing is confusing me.
Banging deal. Three paints and three figures and a brush for £1.99. Nearly bought two.
Where did you buy them from? I’ve checked everywhere and they all say they’re waiting for issue 2 now
