Warner Bros. Studio Tour London Once doors have closed to the public on selected days in November and December, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will welcome Groupon members for an exclusive event. Available for entry from 3.00 p.m, guests will be granted after-hours access to the Studio Tour which showcases authentic sets, props and costumes from the Harry Potter™ film series.

Guests can walk the flagstones of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall which will be transformed for the Yule Ball. As seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, the celebration of the Triwizard Tournament saw every detail of the Great Hall covered in shimmering silver, dripping icicles and sparkling snow. Groupon Members will get a taster of this incredible set dress as the top section of the Great Hall will be transformed with snow-covered Christmas trees, icicles and an orchestra of magical instruments.

In addition to the Yule Ball decoration, The Great Hall will be lined with Christmas trees and the long dining tables of the Great Hall will be dressed as they were for seasonal feasts at Hogwarts with prop versions of roast turkeys, hams studded with cherries and even Christmas puddings surrounded by real flames.

As part of the Hogwarts in the Snow feature, many of the iconic sets housed at the Studio Tour will receive a festive makeover. The Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory will be decorated with their original festive props and the Hogwarts castle model will be transformed with a layer of filmmaking snow.

While exploring the attraction, guests will also be able to enjoy experiences that have been specifically added for Groupon members like enjoying a special demonstration courtesy of John Richardson, Special Effects Supervisor from the Harry Potter film series. They’ll get the chance to learn wand moves and can ‘fly’ a broomstick like a member of the cast in the Studio Tour’s green screen experience.

Groupon members will also enter the set of Gringotts Wizarding Bank as part of the Studio Tour’s biggest expansion to date that opened earlier this year. Once through the banking hall of Gringotts, Groupon members will enter the depths of the Lestrange vault used to store the treasures of Bellatrix Lestrange including the Sword of Gryffindor™ and Helga Hufflepuff’s™ Cup, one of Lord Voldemort’s™ horcruxes. Here, Groupon members can try out a photo opportunity allowing them to surround themselves with treasure.

During a short break in the attraction’s Backlot Café or Food Hall Café, guests will be able to enjoy a selected hot meal; a glass of wine, beer, hot or soft drink; and a Butterbeer™. They’ll also get the chance to come face-to-face with Death Eaters™ as they patrol the Studio Tour. All guests will receive a complimentary Studio Tour souvenir guidebook on arrival and the Studio Tour will stay open until midnight on these special nights.

We have a 7 year old who's Potter mad, only watched 1-3. For those who have been, would this be suitable for a 7yo and would it ruin the other movies if you've not seen them old yet? Cheers in advance!

It should be fine and shouldn't ruin much (from memory that is) I am sure there was plenty of kids there when we went a few years back.
I'm trying to add two tickets but it the discount seems fixed
Seemed to work doing 1 ticket. But not 2. Wonder if you can just buy one then another using same codes

Last time this was on offer, I bought 2 separate tickets on 2 accounts to get the max discount, presume you’d have to do the same.
Really good day out. Even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan;if you’re at all into art or movie making there is a lot to absorb.

The vast majority of props are from the first 3 movies but there are some sets and occasional props used in the later films. As far as I'm aware it never talked about the big spoilers from the later books and it's more akin to things you'd find out from watching the trailers for the later films.

Can't rule out people talking about spoilers and him overhearing though, you're going to have lots of people talking about the movies and they're old enough that people won't be watching what they say to avoid them.

It's less intense than the doctor who experience but a big exhibit, plenty of walking but places to rest.

I’m sure we saw references to Dobby’s death so watch out for that!
Dammit. This is late this year? Presumed they'd decided not to offer this year so booked last weekend! Heat.

I went saturday. I recommend going dressed up me and all my mates went from work
How long does the tour last?
Can only buy two tickets per transaction? Anyone else experiencing this?
Does anyone know what or what choice the hot meal is, I think it was a hot dog last year

Yeah I got that, plus the SNUGGLE code only took £9.99 off even when adding two tickets. I manage to put through two separate orders, it allowed me to use the code twice so did get the tickets for £39.96.

I wanted 4 though, so had to get two on my account and two on my wife's.
is this the same price as the summer deals??

This is an amazing experience. The whole family went and it blew my mind. I also agree photos should not be posted as there's a few moments along the tour you're just not expected and your jaw drops. It wouldn't be right spoiling them for those who haven't been before.
Great day out

We took our daughter when she was only 5 and she absolutely loved it. She hadn't seen all of the movies by that point either, although I think she had seen 1 through 5.

Booked it again this year ... although I must admit we're going for the wife more than the daughter haha.
Dates are a bit rubbish
Anyone know how long the whole thing takes? Tour including meal etc.

is the meal about half way through the tour? Trying to work out how late we’d be eating and leaving if we went for 7.30pm tour.

thanks in advance
Booked thanks! On my daughters birthday too

August 2017 I got family daytime ticket 2A2C for £126 without the add ons, this is marginally better but you'll need to buy 2 x 2.
Thank you for the post, I’ve been watching for this, and so pleased there is a 20% off working on it, great price x

I took my the family and my sister who is a mad HP fan. We've never been before. We were there for almost 7.5hours. Most forums state average times at 4h to 4.5h. The only reason we spent so long was we looked and read everything. It was also a Sat so queues were at its highest. There is the backlot cafe which is half way through the tour. You can eat anytime and then go back to the tour where you left off. Suggest that you go slightly earlier than your allotted time if you want to hit the souvenir shop. We spent almost an hour after the tour, again was pretty crowded. If you go before hand you should avoid that. Hope this helps, any other questions, let me know. Have fun!

I think they have changed the layout of the food options since my last visit, but the Groupon offer is for a meal either at the Backlot Café, which is just over half way through the tour, or you can use the Food Hall which I think is at the entrance.
I did this a couple of years ago as a groupon and it was excellent, only thing at the time was the meal wasn’t a meal, it was a snack, I think I got 4 chicken breaded pieces in a bowl, it only came with a drink, no sides, this time I’m going to make sure I have sandwiches in the car for afterward, as none of us wanted to sit for long anyway, we were all too excited, and I’ve been wanting to go back for the Xmas one!x

Heat! Perfect birthday present. Does anyone know how you get the guidebook and meals free? Do you simply show them the voucher as doesn’t say.
