Lack of demand probably. The supermarkets all used to have their own brands but don't bother now.

You probably mean lack of supply - supermarkets no longer offering own brand substitutes, giving Warninks a monopoly.

If there was little demand, the price would go down as no one is buying it.

Just what i've learned from economics at school.
