After drinking a few discounted LBV ports at £8-£10 try this Warre's Bottle-Aged Late-Bottled Vintage Port 75cl in gift wooden presentation box; at an average price of £20 without box normally. (2016 Decanter Silver Award if you like to follow awards)
£14.85 Save 1/3 was £22.29 (offer ends 06/12/2016)
Full bodied Port with plenty of ripe fruit. Needs decanting as it is a late bottled vintage by bottling without any fining or filtration after four years in cask, before maturing for at least four years in bottle because release. (actually been in bottle for 8 years now in 2016 so drink now or store for future), see tasting note in my comment below.
At my store there is a 5% extra off for buying 6 bottles of any wine and fortified wine.
Also if you have Waitrose member card, and received £7 off £35 spend which I used on this, effectively knocks another £3 off ~£15 price=£12! (OK, I wasted money on wooden presentation box as I am drinking myself but still excellent value for the liquid.)

So I got myself a bottle of the above and a bottle of Hidalgo La Gitana Manzanilla for £8 (was £10)

Tasting notes from porttoportwine.com/ind…g=3
Deep garnet centre with a near opaque rim. Brooding damson nose, revealing black fruit, liquorice and subtle mint undertones. Well toned on the palate, generous and muscular with black fruit flavours, voluptuous and elegant.

Very well balanced, and exquisitely crafted wine, very pleasurable drinking now but with evident power to go on developing in bottle for at least another decade.
port is a forgotten drink but I love it thanks will try
