Great deal, voted hot!
Can you buy a day ticket now and use it any time?
Does anyone know if the 12 months on annual pass starts from today or date when you collect it? Thanks in advance.
Just purchased.. not sure if dated today or wen I pick up... Will let u knw
Last time I went there, it rained heavily all day and all outdoor shows were cancelled. And, this was during summer!
Does it cover the extras you have to pay for once inside the castle such as the dungeons
Oh wow- this place is brilliant! Thank you!

Hi there. I read the t&c, it says valid for 12 minths from date of issue.
I can't see any mention of the 50% tickets for family and friends on their site, is that actually one of the perks?

Also, do the Merlin annual passes ever get heavily discounted? I might pay more to get the full Merlin pass...
Do the passes have the users name on ?
Excellent deal... very very hot... have been once but could not finish .
Group of 30 of us shared a family pass a few years ago.
Great value

Yes and you have to have your photo taken and then they print the card there and then with your picture on it .

That unfortunately won’t work anymore , even the children as well as the adults on the passes will have their names and photos on them.
Was there a couple of weeks ago pretty average day out, 1000 year or so castle too much focus on modern history, even made a big deal about prince Charles having a cup of tea in one of the rooms! Went midweek most food vendors closed burger stall only one open and that closed at 2, bird show was good but definitely not worth the £32
Great deal but once a year is enough for me

That's what I was thinking, but by visiting right at the start and again right at the end, your annual pass can get you two years visits for a good price?

Possibly. It depends on how you want to come back next time. There's been a lot of discussion regarding offers at staying over at Warwick Castle (which is where the 'not enough to do on 2nd day came in') but you might want to do that and if you did, it might steer whether you go for the annual pass.

For example, we may come back in a year's time, but midweek with an overnight stay and that's cheaper including tickets than an 'anytime' bed and breakfast rate. Also, our Alton passes will expire in August/Sept and we may wait for start of year to get Merlin passes.

We're also thinking of possibly upgrading one (but we travel my wife's parents a lot so 4 adults and one child) to an annual pass for the free parking.

It depends on your own circumstances, but I don't think you'd lose out even if you just go one extra time.
