Thanks for posting OP. Good deal, but tickets are FROM £15/£20. Tickets on a November Saturday with dungeon cost £22.50.

Good deal but keep in mind this really no longer a historical attraction and much more a entertainment venue set in and around a castle, if you go in knowing that you will not be disappointed.

Check THE TIMES newspaper as they are doing a promo at the moment.

I disagree. Huge amount of history for those prepared to look for it. Made entertaining for visiting families, but still a fascinating place and one of the best preserved medieval castles in the country.

wonder how much for the season dungeon ticket is for our lass?

Last time I went it cost £6 to park. Paid on way out and only 1 machine working. Would not take my last pound coin. Walked to the only shop that had no pound coins in til. Waited 45 mins and man turned up and fixed second parking machine. That one did take all 6 coins.. Take lots of change folks.. Nightmare.. Good place to go though. Halloween specials to

Great deal

I last went there in 1956, has it been modernised or is it the same old castle?

The main castle remains largely unchanged however It’s been modernised. It’s much more commercialised and geared to making money now Merlin Entertainment took it over, which isn’t such a bad thing as the new dungeon attracts a fair few visitors.
