I'd lean toward not getting a guitar online but in my experience I've been awfully lucky. Either way, here is a good place to check reviews. reviews.harmony-central.com/rev…0/1

Stock Status: 5 in stock*
4 in our Poole store. 1 in our warehouse.

Consider also the vintage v300 (also an award winner) around this price point.

I like Vintage, i'd also consider an Eastwood LA25 Dreadnought which would be a bit cheaper, but like all of these fair priced guitars you get a beauty or a dog so going to a store is best and actually try it before you buy. 10 of the same model will give you 10 different feeling guitars.

Not sure about the guitar, but highly recommend Absolute Music for service:thumbsup:

I prefer the yamaha acoustics at this price!

I agree, buying without trying is definitely not a good idea.

Although to be fair it can be sent back if you arent happy with it for a full refund

I've had a D10 for about 13 years. It's an excellent guitar and by far the best in it's price range.

Sold out. Also the post doesnt say if it includes postage

No, no discount code. I posted this over a week ago but has took a while to get hot. Price must have gone up a couple of quid because of the pound dropping against the dollar. Does include postage - all items over £100 do!! BTW I am very impressed with the guitar. Has a great sound for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend. It says they have more stock on order so will be available again soon.

Cheers. Was the delivary ok, was it well packaged etc ? Looking for a half decent accoustic and this looks like it will fit the bill for the money.

Very well packaged. got enough bubble wrap to last me a lifetime aswell lol. Delivery was here at 8.30am next day. The person on the phone was very knowledgeable as I was after a capo and hard case aswell. He sold me the cheaper capo rather than telling me to get the expensive one and the guitar fits the case perfect!!

True I suppose, but a lot of hassle. Even if they were all good, I'd still want to try several out to pick 'the best'.

Washburn make great guitars! I have played one for over 20 years, and it still sounds as sweet as day the day i bought it, Well made, quality instrument, don't know how good this model is, but if my one is anything to go by then i would recommend it anyday.

I'm considering buying this! The only guitar I own currently is a Yamaha F310, does anyone know how this one compares?

Great price and voted hot. Personally though Yamaha would have my money around this price range. Love my Yamaha

i cant imagine getting a better guitar for the price of my lovely yamaha f310!! i wouldnt mind trying one of these!

Great price for a Washburn - nothing for left-hookers though!

Appreciate the input guys but I'd love to see if anyone has heard both and could give me some feedback on their thoughts! It wouldn't be replacing my Yamaha, I have no desire to get rid of my guitar, it would just be to accompany it! I just want it to sound different, as I wasn't really expecting an upgrade! Maybe I could keep one in different tuning or have one use completely different strings and they would both sound nice but fairly different? Or maybe I'm dreaming and being stupid

I have the Yamaha F310 and its a BRILLIANT INSTRUMENT for the price

I picked up a black FX370C semi in a music shop in Putney for £100.(£200 retail at the time). Shop floor model so 'used' but pristine. Can't remember the name of the shop as I was just passing through but it is well worth going to the shops (especially smaller ones) for the clearance and personal haggling deals.

As for Yamaha I have 2 and their build quality is brilliant.

This is a good deal for a good quality guitar. You won't get much better for the money.

The best entry level model is the Yamaha F310 for around £110

You own or have played both? If not then what do you base this on? Care to list some positives/negatives you found they had in comparison to the other?
