Ok, this is a proper Washburn Guitar with twin humbuckers for a solid rock sound plus a 15w combo amp - IMO a bargain for a quality branded axe. Forget the guitar starter bundles from Argos etc, this is well respected brand of guitar.

Product Description
In 1999 Washburn's master craftsmen set out to design a modern classic for the new Millennium and the Idol was born. After countless awards and accolades, Washburn has now expanded the Idol family to an even more versatile instrument.

The WI14 is a modern take on the single cutaway and is quite innovative in its own way. A wider base allows a thinner body to be used without balance issues. The bolt on neck allows comfortable access to the upper register.

Specifications:

• Basswood body
• Neck Scale 24¾"
• 22 Frets
• Maple bolt on neck
• Fingerboard radius 14"
• Nut width: 42.5mm
• Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays
• 3 way toggle switch
• Die cast tuners
• Washburn humbucker pickups
• Hardtail bridge

This looks like a great deal especially for begineer. Washburn don't generally make anything bad!
Hot from me.

As a retired drummer, this seems like an awesome deal. Agreed, ignore Argos etc this is the way forward. Good find.

Some very mixed reviews. General consensus seems to be that it's a cheap Chinese made guitar from the bottom of Washburn's range, but would be good for a beginnner. Considering you would pay around this price for an unbranded guitar and amp from Asda or Argos, I think it sounds decent value.

Would've went for this had I not picked up a cracking Tanglewood Les Paul aand Marshall 15w amp from Gumtree for a ton.
HOT

I second that as a registered sex offender

As a retired expert trapper i third it

PMT online you say? I can only imagine the customer service on a bad day...

As a born again hermaphrodite I'd have to disagree

As a nearly retired cheese plucker...i say hot find!

As a current part time prostitute I'd have to say £35 for standard, £45 for French.

don't expect much only useful for a beginner.

As a semi-retired cottager I shall ask George Michael when he's next passing thru if its much cop.

Hot from me...just wish someone would find me a cheap jetglo ricky

Assuming a 'jetglo ricky' is what I think it is sleepola sounds very reasonable

As a retired bog-scrubber, I say excellent old chap!

As a recycled tyre, I.......

Wait......!

What was the question again?

You're not going to get fantastic at that price. I own a Washburn guitar and several Randall amps and recommend both brands. Hot deal as most packages at these prices are no-name brands.

As a famous bassist I.......

Oh wait, we dont get opinions

As an Expat No comment but still loving my MG hand made Washburn from 80`s

As a testicle fiddler, I have to say that this deal is...
...raw.
Heat [pack] added

As a retired Pheasant plucker, al I can say is I can wait to give this turkey a major plucking for Xmas

Our local PMT really do live up to their name and the customer service is awful. We go to Allegro instead now.

You think this is bad, just look at a Skoda deal, or any AV equipment made by Sony or Onkyo.

I posted a similar Washburn Les Paul style guitar without amp for £76 inc delivery earlier - in glossy red or glossy black.

As a level headed banjo player I'm drooling from both sides of my mouth at once.
