I have n't tried yet the delivery and installation is next week. Is the feedback low for the wash cycle on this model?

only 1200rpm? seems a bit low

NOW 329.99

This is about normal price for this, they are 300-350 on the continent without any special offers

whoever pays 500 for this is clearly getting shagged

1200 is a little low, probably about the same as a lesser branded 1400 though

We bought this last week. Decent machine - very quiet.

1200 vs 1400 = marketing.

£329 is a very good price for this. I'm very happy with mine. At first I was looking at Samsung washing machines, but bad reviews put me off. I'm glad I chose this one.

I disagree. I have a 1600 spin machine and the time it takes clothes to dry after a 1600 spin is considerably less than the time taken after 1400, so I'd expect a similar improvement between 1200 and 1400.

Same here, we had a Hotpoint 1400 spin washer and when we got this Bosch 1200 (same one as this deal) at first we thought our tumble dryer had gone belly up because clothes were still damp after our normal drying time.
We soon realised it was the new washers spin speed so we now have to do an additional spin cycle to get the clothes as dry as the old 1400 machine.

My current Bosch machine is about 13 years old and has been 100% reliable.

Max spin speed is 1000, but I often run it at <900 since clothes seem to keep their shape better. For sheets & towels, I would like a faster spin speed, however when I eventually have to replace the machine, the main priority will be getting something equally reliable.

Of course, for people who are prepared to do ironing, maybe the higher speeds are fine.
