Not sure if they're good quality, but heat for the price
Most of them will be dead and the rest won't last very long. Waste of money.
They are Alkaline not Silver Oxide and will not last as long as a quality watch battery
I beg to differ about the quality. Have bought these at £land, for funnily enough the same price, and the ones I've used work fine. Admittedly most of the battery types you'll never need but even getting 2 or 3 you need for a £1 is a considerable saving.

Haven't had any any dead ones, or any leak, but agree they don't last very long. Generally you only use two or 3 if the common sizes and end up recycling the rest. But for a pound, which is their normal price and always seem to have them on the shelves, they are worth having some in the house. Heat though for pointing out their availability.

Possibly he's been paying £2 for them down the market store or eBay and realised they are only a pound there. Nothing wrong with showing their availability.

i normally find in those packs, I only need 1 row, nothing I have uses the other size, so fo rme it's better to buy branded ones from ebay

I agree it obviously better to fit a branded one but worth having a pack of these just in case. As regard getting the best value off eBay
ebay.co.uk/itm/Fusiomax-alkaline-button-watch-batteries-Calculator-Camera-Radio-Games-30-Pack/282854293415 or even ebay.co.uk/itm/Branded-FUSIOMAX-1-5-V-Alkaline-Button-Batteries-0-Mercury/323077717683 or even chance your luck and buy one from Poundworld and put them on auction ebay.co.uk/itm/30-Pack-Fusiomax-Button-Batteries/273072677470

Why not buy say 10 of the one you need for just over £1 off amazon or ebay? For example, the batteries that go in hexbugs can be bought at 10 for £1.23

Haven't got any hex bugs, but I do get family and friends asking for me to install a watch battery so I have the selection. Alternatively they can pay £15 pound plus to have one fitted and I'm sure if they go to some places this will only be what's fitted. Obviously depending on the watch they may want to get a quality battery.

Hexbug was just used as an example, I don't see the point of all these batteries in the pack that won't get used and chucked in the rubbish.
I emailed tried these, plus the JCB branded ones at Home Bargains. I can confirm that the quality isn't great. They look OK, but are more prone to leak and will not last as long. Any watch worth over a tenner, I wouldn't risk it again.

Good point! I had to have a watch battery fitted last week (because the watch requires a tool to put the back on after changing the battery) and have no idea as to the quality of battery they fitted - I suspect it was a cheap 'n' cheerful one. In any case, the whole thing cost me considerably more than £1.

Never chuck in the rubbish. Most supermarkets have recycle collection points

Yup lots of idiots out there
From past experience the batteries have very low charge and infact did not work in a blood glucose monitor. For very low power usage they may be ok.
