good deal this, seems to be the way forward with smyths for pre orders

Come on, quit the pre-orders folks. You can still get the "pre order bonus" months after release..

and spend less on it, honestly if it's not multiplayer there's little reason to buy a game at release unless you make a living streaming.

I don't really get why you are determining what people should or shouldn't do with their own money?

There has been plenty of games I have bought on pre-order, played through and sold on for just as much as I paid or more. I'm not a big fan of multiplayer and I have no reason to keep the majority of games these days so one playthrough and then on eBay suits me fine.

I would have thought the main reason to buy a game at launch is because you want to play it. I'm not sure this is the best price we are going to see though so I'll wait it out. I actually really liked the first one, never understood the complaints. I think pre-ordering just for the sake of it pointless. I know on release I can go to sainsburys or wherever and buy it, there isn't going to be a shortage. But I don't want to pay those prices. So pre-ordering when you get offered the right price makes sense to me. The price always seems to go up a bit the week before launch and just after. Then 2 weeks later it drops. But I can't always wait that long

Heard Smyth's aren't great for preorders in terms of delivery timing. Is that true?

Can always preorder to click and collect? Should be on time then?

I don't have a problem pre-ordering when it's from a competent, decent developer.

As this is a Ubisoft game though, nah.

Cold.

Thanks OP.
It's arrived a day early and Quidco tracked at £1.11.
