Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Watchmen, the classic 12-issue miniseries by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, with Watchmen: The Absolute Edition, the first hardcover of this classic work in more than a decade.

This oversized (8.25" x 12.5") hardcover collection, packaged inside a beautifully designed slipcase, will be the cornerstone of any serious comic book collection. Each page of art has been restored and recolored by WildStorm FX and original series colourist John Higgins and approved by Dave Gibbons to appear as originally intended.

Additionally, this grand tome will include 48 pages of supplemental material produced exclusively for the Graphitti Designs Watchmen hardcover edition and not seen since their original publication. Included therein is a cornucopia of rare and historically valuable treasures, including samples of Moore's Watchmen scripts, the original Watchmen proposal, Gibbons's conceptual art, cover roughs, and much, much more.

This is a very special, collector's edition of one of the most important graphic novels ever, one which constantly features in the top ten lists of fans and one of the few works which can legitimately claim to have changed the genre.

DC, over-sized, slipcased hardcover, 464 pages, published October 2005

"one of the most important graphic novels ever"
I do think it's definitely one of the most overrated graphic novels ever, it's actually quite boring.

ooh i want it!
already have a normal copy though...:whistling:

This seems like a too-good-to-be-true price. It's over 50 quid on Amazon (when it's in stock) and goes for around 60 quid on ebay.

But the description is exactly what it should be - hardover, slipcase, oversized and with 464 pages. Forbidden Planet aren't idiots either, you'd expect them to get it right. So I've taken the plunge. Top spot, thank you. I'm off to wait outside the door for the postie...
