These any good?

These things are amazing, put it this way I used to hate going to the hygienist to get scaling done it was so painful.
But once i started using this next time i went i could hardly feel anything :).
I wish I could find an irrigator for my ears at this price or less I feel so embarrassed going to the nurse every 6 months to get my ears cleaned.
Is it actually any good though I see a lot people saying you really need to floss afterwards to clear everything.....
Tempting but still somewhat on the fence atm.

Trust me, your nurse will have seen a lot more embarrassing stuff than a bit of brown gunk from your ears!!
Thanks for posting this I bought this on Friday for £64.03 off amazon and just got the difference back boom

Try your local petrol station jetwash. HUKD tip - take some soap and shampoo and have a shower whilst you're at it.
I heard these were good for tonsil stones!
how do I get the 10% off
Thanks bought two, one for me and one for xmas present
I bought one (a different brand) just after a visit to the dentist and I used it almost every day. On my next visit a year later, my teeth didn't look any better than in previous years when I'd only been doing sporadic flossing. I haven't used it since then.
I have it and it's great, amazing how much gunk comes out from between your teeth!
a cost of ONE visit to the hygienist = a cost of this water flosser
Your choice !!!!
It's another gimmick that you don't need...

You'd be surprised. My dentist recommended one to me as I've got some bridgework and crowns which have left unavoidable gaps. I use interdental sticks, floss and brush thoroughly before the irrigator (a different one to this post but same idea) and never fail to remove tiny bits of debris with it.

Use or used? I'm guessing this doesn't replace interdental sticks? If it does - I'm on it!
I think there may also be 5.5% at tcb too. Not sure but it appears so. Hot and ordered btw, cheers OP.

I have the same issue. Putting a few drops of olive oil at night once a week will help.
Btw, anyone that's already used one of these, would you know if you can add mouthwash or similar to the water reservoir? Cheers.

I still use the interdental sticks as I need to brush clean certain little areas so it really will depend on you and the insides of your gob

If you've just ordered this and you've never used one before, you might be glad of some of these... cpc.farnell.com/jsp…926

You learn pretty quickly where to aim the nozzle
I keep my mouth closed while using and open every few seconds to drain the water out, avoids most of the mess.

They are great for getting food debris out for sure. I bought one due to my back teeth spacing it after wisdom tooth extraction many moons ago that caused bits of meat to get trapped and this is so much more effective than flossing. I don't think it stops plaque build up at all but is highly recommend one for removal of bits of food. There's a bit of technique involved when using these things but you soon get used to it.
oh dear auto text errors again and still no edit button in the mobile app...

Is that those stinky white lumps you get? Not had one for years to be honest... Wonder what caused them?

Yes you can do this. But if you find the on/off button for water flow starts to jam, it's probably due to the mouthwash. Just use water only for a while and it will free up again.
I need a portable one as I travel a lot. Any recommendations? Thank you

Mine gotta on my suitcase with me wherever I go. I just brought mine over to Florida last night in fact!

It was originally purchased in the USA anyway, so I picked up a 240 to 120v step down adapter for use world-wide.

Thank you! Is it small enough to put it in a suitcase? I work as a live-in carer, so I travel weekly or every two weeks.
Amazon has just send me an e-mail cancelling my order on the day it was meant to be shipped.
Just phone them. Woman told me it was lost in the post so they have given me a refund. Then she tells me it wasn't in stock and hands up.
Phoned them again and spoke to a pleasant man. He told me it's been damaged in transit and now amazon themselves are out of stock. He was going to match the £46.99 if I bought it again but with it being out of stock he's going to e-mail me when they have stock and offer me the price of £46.99. I'll report back how it goes.
Just missed this
