Posted this deal a while back at £1.49 saw it last night in Aldi Boscome Bournemouth for £1.29 picked another one up.

Waterproofed my Gore-Tex boots & two pairs of shoes with one tin & seems to do the job.

Not sure if National so put in store, not available on line anymore.

Curious, what would happen if you were to say, spray your car with this stuff

You'd be broke because it would take a lot of cans!
If this is an in store reduction it will be store sopecific - that's how Aldi works. Not worth a trip unless you're going to that store.

I've just said it. Nothing happened.
Tried something like this before on my gazebo and it didn't work also took 4-5 cans for me to do it so wasted money.
I have used this to waterproof a couple of Jackets after washing them, it does work and its a lot cheaper than some of the other brands.

At best it 'showerproofs' things. A bit misleading when they call it waterproof. It useful on clothing though.

I agree
Used similar stuff on a tent. I will only warn you to spray outside (the smell is probably overpowering if it's the same as the tin I used) and more importantly with the wind behind you.
Woke up following morning in considerable discomfort, felt like I'd got more in my eyes than on the tent. It was a blustery day I'd tried to be careful but obviously not careful enough.
My girlfriend no longer gets wet. She used this on herself.
