Rabbits!! Rabbits!! Rabbits!! Rabbits!! Everywhere. Fiver the hippy premonition rabbit. Bigwig - cooler than Jack Bauer. Keehar - the Dude Gull. General Woundwort - if Ray Winstone was a rabbit. And Hazel - a legend amongst rabbits.

Quite simply - one of the bestest animations ever - and grown men can cry legally in this film (fact) without fear of ridicule 'cos it is simply the dogs; or rather the rabbits.

Directed by Martin Rosen and featuring the instantly recognisable vocal talents of an array of British stars including John Hurt (Nineteen Eight-Four, Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone) Richard Briers (The Good Life, Hamlet) and Hannah Gordon (Upstairs Downstairs, Taggart) this animated masterpiece delves into the surprisingly violent world of a warren of rabbits who venture away from the evils of man in search of a new and better place to live.

The special edition is packed full of revealing and insightful, never-before-seen footage including A Conversation with the Film Makers and a featurette entitled Defining a Style which showcases exclusive commentary from the production team and cast members. Storyboard Comparisons including the opening sequence, Hazel and Fiver Sneak into Nuthanger Farm, Bigwig Leads Escape from Efrafa and Hazel is Injured also feature on the disc.

Special Features:

A conversation with the film makers
Defining the style documentary
Three storyboard comparisons
Opening Sequence
Hazel Is Injured
Hazel and Fiver sneak into Nuthanger Farm
Bigwig leads the escape from Efrafa

Has this been classified as deal of the month yet? Why not? Heheh.
Up there with the best films I've clapped my eyes on.

this is a lovely fim, sad at times too and I loved the theme tune "bright eyes" byt Art Garfunkel (I think). scary to think 30 years ago:cry:

Yep, showing at £4.99 at the moment, not £2.99 as it would need to be for that code to make it £2.69, what gives?

Bums... Couldn't order with my phone last night and just got to a computer with a bit of plastic between my teeth... Too late was the cry!

Another one to look out for is Plague Dogs... Absolute stormer of a film. Same people I think.
