Think this is a great deal for any child out there who is a fan of Watership Down. This is one from 'back in the day' so would be good if you could get your child into watching something that you enjoyed at their age.

At only £1.99 its a steal really, the next cheapest being £3.89 @ Sendit

Synopsis
The animated TV series based on the characters from Richard Adams' novel Watership Down. Adventures contained here: The Promised Land, Home on the Down and The Easy Life.

crazy film!

horrible film for a kid

Great film, but not sure it's for young children though. I think was 10 when I first saw it.

Heat added.

Edit: Hold on, I think we all haven't read it properly. This isn't the film, it's a tv series.

Excellent film, but this aint the film, its the tv series.. never knew they even did one...

actually you've got a point there,i remember seeing this when i was about 10 or thereabouts,am 41 years old now and the only thing i really remember about the film was crying my eyes out lol

still a good price though,so have added some heat

Yep I haven't cried in about 25 years Im 33 now and this film brings back terrible memories , Im sure I shed my first and only tear when some of the rabbits die . My father disowned me and has never spoken to me since .

very good point, but the film is nasty:p

God damn evil white rabbits with piercing red eyes, mauling up the cute ones.
Then that crazy grim reaper rabbit, telling them to lie down and sleep it'll be alright.
And then Simon and Garfunkul.
Should be a 15 lol

Still haunted today... the death, destruction... the bloodshot eyes as the rabbits are buried alive in their own burrows...

No thanks, won't be showing this one to my kids

This is not the classic film, it's clearly a volume of a TV spin off.

And I would show the original Watership Down to any child - my younger sister cried all the way home from the cinema and I don't know how I didn't. We both consider it a classic and intelligent film in later life.

You hit the nail on the head, later in life.

Why not slap on last house on the left as well, and they can have a day to remember, YAY! lol
