After seeing aetaaas deal for the 20,000mAh power bank I had a quick search and this popped up! Only one review so can’t be sure on quality but for a fiver I’m not too fussed if it ends up in the bin!

I thought that but I would just go through Amazon for any issues, don't think I'd need to contact their customer service?

Pretty much everything electronic I've bought from Amazon Warehouse has been faulty. So much so that I've taken to hiding notes in my returns to warn the next purchaser.

I'm willing to take a punt on a new one at that price. Can always return it. Thanks OP

There is no manufacturers warranty with warehouse stock and he's reviewing a faulty item.
Absurd.

Maybe so, but sometimes you get a bargain, sometimes you get a dud. If this works then fantastic, great value for a fiver. But if it doesn't then there's plenty more important stuff to worry about haha
A fiver, with 2 year warranty! Come on people.......

Typical! I’ll let you know when I get mine tomorrow. Wouldn’t surprise me if these have been sitting in a warehouse for ages and the batteries have discharged to a point where they can’t be recharged. Wouldn’t have bothered if it wasn’t for Amazons easy returns to be honest.

Right as it looks like you're the guys that bought it I thought you might find this info useful. So I received it yesterday and fully charged it. I then used it to charge my iPad so the chargers battery went from full to flat. According to my USB monitor it provided 5516mAh of power before dying. This sounds low but we have to take into account the assumed industry standard 30% power loss due to inefficiencies. I then recharged it and it took 7658mAh of power to charge it from flat to fully charged. Obviously this is lower than the quoted 9000mAh quoted but looking at the size of the thing, there was no way it was packing 9kmAh. All of this is just based on mine though, you guys may have more or less capacity depending on how long yours have been stored.

I then took the liberty of comparing its size vs other power banks and an example of the first one I compared to was Coolreals 5000mAh charger. This one is slightly taller but also slightly thinner, (overall it was smaller), than the Coolreals. When you take into consideration this is packing 7500-8000mAh vs 5000mAh the coolreal charger, I have to say overall I'm pretty impressed.

Apologies for any bad grammar - wanted to write it up quickly while it's back in stock.
Received mine today, it's charging as we speak (although came almost fully charged anyway)

I'll test it later tonight, but first impressions are good. It feels very well made and looks good too.

I am having the exact same problem.

Another faulty one.. I bet none of these will last, even the ones that work initially.
I was able to charge the thing itself no problem 4 lights fully charges. But Bad news! took it out for the day, initially nothing was happening then after unplugging and replugging in it eventually started charging my phone phew! but then i realised it was discharging faster than it was charging whilst I was using the phone (I play pokemon go) bear in mind I usually use the equivalent Anker 10000mah which charges faster no problem. I check the Ampere app and I see a charging rate of 5mA-300mA, remember the phone takes away any current usage rate so in reality it might be charging at 500-800mA. With pokemon go this running it it is discharging faster than its charging, where as normally I get anywhere around 1000-1900mA with the anker or this guys older brother which i also bought.

So worth checking if this is the case for you too even if it does "work". the App is called Ampere on google play store.

Hi mate, thanks for the heads up. According to my USB current reader, mine did supply 2A at about 4.8 volts to my iPad. After being happy with the first one I ordered, I ordered another one which refused to charge at all so being sent back. Strange how much of a lottery it is with these.
I bought one yesterday- it won't catch on fire will it? If a dud i will send back but i was buying something on Amazon and for a fiver i just had to give it a go. Thanks op!
