Admittedly, I haven't done this before!
Thanks OP, ordered. Great for Glastonbury, lightweight and compact.
Im a Duke of Edinburgh expedition supervisor for schools and there are lots of cheap options that I tell students about to discourage them from bringing pot/super noodles, such as quite a few good pasta sauce pouches in the pasta sauce aisles in many supermarkets. If you can find them, the “look what I found “ pouches aren’t bad either (wish they still did the chicken tikka one, that was great with vacuum packed mini naans). Pine nuts toasted in the bottom of your camping pan before you do quick cook pasta and add those individual sacla pesto portions are also great.
One tip if you are going to eat out of boil to heat pouches is to buy yourself a long handled spoon from an outdoor store - being frustrated AND hungry at end of a long day’s hiking is a bad combination...

I found the "Look what I found" sachets contained very little solid content, mainly sauce ... My Fave, for a quick and very tasty munch, is a packet of sandwich thins, a packet of Aldi Jalapeño Smoked Cheese Slices and a packet of Milano Salami Slices ... Split the thins, insert a slice of each and toast gently in a pan on your burner. Voila, a pizza (ish) ...
