Tempted, but think I will try my luck on black Friday or at least if the 12tb for the same price pops back up again.

I ordered a couple just now and my delivery date is this Sunday (1st Dec) - so there might still be time to cancel once Black Friday has been & gone (or maybe it will be dispatched on Thursday as the page does say "in stock 28th Nov").

Either way if a crazy WD deal comes up in the next week you should have til 31st January 2020 to change your mind and return.
already disappeared off Amazon? Second day running they have put this price online for less than 10 minutes.

Looks good but still hoping for a deal on 12TB or the dual drive 2tb

Love shuck, baby love shuck
Anyone know what’s inside?
Order quickly, it's been this price several times over the past week and sold out within half an hour or so each time.

Indeed. This is the second time I've posted. The first time it went out of stock before the deal could even be moderated!

Unfortunately you missed that deal - the 12TB Elements drive was £154.99 for a couple of hours at the beginning of last week until it sold out, and unlike this 10TB one that keeps going in and out of stock it hasn't come back into stock at any price. At this point it looks unlikely it will be back.
cheers ordered
Heat for me at under £15/Tb
8tb seems better value at £114.99

True. I've set up an amazon email alert just in case. The 12 is an insane bargain at the £154.99 price.

it does but depends if you're looking for cheap mirroring. For me, I need all the TB I can get

Technically correct, but there's only 12p/TB difference, so it's not like you'll be paying a massive premium for the extra 2TB.

Just ordered 2 with the 2nd as backup for the first. Bargain!
Ordered.

Do these require pin mod to shuck? Hoping to for a good deal on a 4/5 bay synology nas now.
Have ordered two, will return them if it proves that the 12tb come back at the £154 price but fearing I missed the boat on those. Thanks for posting

The white labels I've used in the past (8TB) have been working fine on a molex to sata adapter. Not ideal as the adapters can be flaky, but it works.
Hi Guys....Can i directly put these drives in something like a synology NAS or have to do with power pins as ppl keep referring to?

bet you it (12TB) will be back for Black Friday
I ordered one of these a few days ago to shuck for my n54l server. Few comments have got me worried. Will I be able to shuck then plug and play in the n54l?
What is the difference between the WD MyBook and the Elements range?
Also which would be the equivalent to the US EasyStore line?

I should be receiving my 10TB Elements tomorrow so will post the model numbers of the drives inside.
Is there a forum thread with this info on? eg. which Western Digital externals have Reds/Whites and what exact model no's. (and which require the Kapton electrical tape trick over the pins). Would be useful for those looking to pick up some drives on Black Friday.
