Heat. Fantastic price, and I prefer the Elements drives to the MyBooks. Pity I have enough spare storage space at the moment.
Finally, missed this the last few times and now got the four that I wanted! Time to get shucking.

Thanks OP.
That's an amazing deal, especially with it being WD, always my brand of choice!
shucks that’s a good deal
Anyone know which drive is in it??

Shucked 4 recently all white WD drives. Pretty sure they said WD120EMAZ I'll shut down the qnap in a while and double check. All needed the 3rd pin taping
These were in the 2 8TB elements that I bought last week from Amazon.
Mine went into a Synology NAS, and didn't require the 3rd pin taping.

Thanks OP, just missed this deal on Black Friday so glad I got a second chance. Have some heat.
Great price, heat given. Glad i missed out on the 8TB WD drive for £120ish during Black Friday. Will be ordering up two, to replace the 4TB Red in my NAS. Win!

Dam it! My DS214Play can only take up to 4TB, so now i need to buy a new NAS. Thanks a lot HotDeals

I don’t think you can actually remove the Harddrives from WD cases anymore, or at least you can’t with my portable drives?
Whats the maximum TB an Xbox One can cope with these days???
i have five of these shucked from last christmas and running in a terramaster nas and another four and yet another terramaster nas on the way now, these drives have been flawless for me and none have required third pin taping with the terramaster f5 nas
Showing £241 for me?

8TB only for PS4 and Xbox One. I believe the Xbox One can 'see' a larger drive, but only as 8TB so it would be wasted buying anything larger.
Sorry folks, it is OOS now.

Not 2.5 inch, but 3.5 inch are very easy to open without breaking the cases.
Price per tb is extremely good. Shame I missed the deal

This made me panic slightly so I double checked. Looks like almost all Synology NAS units can accept 12TB drives now, as per their website.

Up to 12TB in total, for the DS214Play, but two disks at 12TB would mean that 24TB cannot be obtained, even with the update
Seen this deal twice in the last couple of weeks, both times out of stock before I could order

Great deal for the few that managed to get it though.
