Normal WD-40 is designed to free up seized parts and then leave an oily residue behind to lubricate them and protect against corrosion.
This is intended to just clean and degrease things and allegedly leaves no residue, can't say I've ever tried it though.

Wrong. Wd40 is simply a water displacer. NOT a penetrating fluid. Wd is useless at helping free up stuck fasteners
