I don’t really see the deal here, quite often these drives are this price new, let alone Recertified.
Used drive.

Ice Cold x 10.
One previous owner...little old lady...didn't drop it much...honest!
Can I use this as my main storage?

Just a quick search here shows the same drive NEW was just £10 more one month ago at Amazon

Does anyone know where I can buy a time machine so I can take advantage of a deal a month ago? Maybe something like this...?

To be fair to the OP, WD use Red hdds in their My Book drives. They don't come much better than that. And good luck finding a 4tb Red drive for this price.

You wait, they come back down
gone
I've only had one dodgy cable and now one 4tb drive die on me (2 days use) but a word of warning with the portable drives, they ship with a 30 day warranty but you have to return them to Poland, according to their terms and conditions they will also not refund postage. All other WD store HDD purchases go back to Swindon. Now in dispute with WD as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 states faulty products new pr 2nd hand should be returned at the sellers expense. Still waiting for a returns label and refund.
two and a half hours later and they are out of stock, so I wonder how many they had in ?

The original comment gave people the information that this drive often drops to a quite cheap price. And that buying a recertified one for £10 more than that price isn't the best option.

Thats what I like to see; constructive criticism.
