Had 2 WD drives fail, so I wouldn't touch them again.

nOT a patch on synology qnap thecus .. but okay as basic file storage/backup box.

Wrong picture and in store only. Tesco direct price was higher when I last looked

I'm guessing this is one of those devices that can't do Plex transcoding? I had a diskless WD MyCloudEX2Ultra (put my own disks in) which I returned because it couldn't transcode.

I'm not sure any of the lower-end NASs with ARM processors will handle a single transcode.
Not for all media, at least (maybe some lower-bitrate content would work).

You can get a single transcode out of the Pi-specific build of Plex on a Pi 3, if you want a cheap add-on to do it - but really for Plex you need Intel chips in the higher NASes or just build your own FreeNAS from a PC with hard drives in it..

Yeah correct, any of the ARM v7s are officially not support for Plex transcoding. I didn't check the processor on this one when I wrote the comment lol. Thanks.
