If you were up this morning in the wee hours the 12TB version of this was £155
Bought 2 of these recently, cost me a bit more than this but still happy with the pricing.

Shucked them both and put them in my synology ds918+.

Tempted to replace my other 3tb drives.. but dont need to at this time..

Thanks for the link they were on stock briefly and ordered a 12 tb one. Bargain per TB! I'm glad I tried to troll you a bit.
These don’t have WD Red drives do they? That’s the only thing putting me off at the moment. Not sure in real terms how much more reliable a Red drive is though.

White label WD Reds.
Do the 6tb variants have the same WD white labels as the 8/10/12tb drives?

Also any difference in 6tb Elements or My Book externals as the My Book is only £5 more? (checked My Book's have the Purple wd60efrx)

On checking around,

6tb drives and below have blue/purple drives inside and you 'might' get a white drive.

8tb drives and above have white drives inside and you 'might' get a red drive.
