Bought a Crucial P5 Plus on a previous deal and it was practically new so happy.

My SN850X arrived this morning. Not 100% sure about the packaging... Drive itself looks mint, will test later

I bought a Samsung 970 2tb SSD from CEX a couple of years ago only to find it was actually a 128gb kingston stick. They took it back in the end and gave me money back, but it made me not want to risk it again as they can be funny with returns

Great spot this was. Annoyingly just bought the 2TB heatsink built in version. but managed to sell on eBay and still make about £5 profit, albeit that wasn't the plan. There was one of these in stock at my local CeX. picked it up and was easy to install with a heatsink and now I have 4TB of space on the PS5!

Good price. But I personally wouldn’t buy an ssd second hand

Why, these drives have a high TBW, chances are it's still got 90% or higher health stats, warranty is also 24 months

Had plenty of 4tb SSD's from CEX all with the above stats or better

2400 TBW to be exact (edited)

Good deal, but does really need preowned in the title.

Should state USED in the title! This is getting heat because people are thinking it's new. Would never buy a used one
    jaju123's avatar
You wouldn't, but plenty of us would. But agree it should be in title.

Used SSDs really should include their wear rate on them, otherwise the price means nothing
    KevinM's avatar
I'm sure that nvme's are able to be checked to see their wear rate, and as CeX have a decent return window, I will check mine as soon as I get it, and if it looks like it has been hammered, I will return it and purchase another until I get one that hasn't been used too much...

I'm hopeful that I won't need to return it, but there are options...and for £250 (plus another £8 for a heatsink), it's a very good price.

What's the best heatsink for PS5 with this?

No top dog but pick your price point. I read some reviews and picked a£7.99 model off Amazon. I'm quite tight though

Just a shame they removed paypal as a payment option
