The silicon power one which was £47 on Prime day is significantly faster than this.

But if you read the comments below it they say the stated speeds are BS which is what put me off... not sure what to believe
In the process of sending two of the WD blue nvme 500gb drives back. I'm using them as SSD read/write cache in my NAS and they keep crashing and corrupting the cache volume.

WD support admitted it was an error/status reporting issue with these drives that causes the problem.

They might work fine as an OS drive, but I won't be risking it.
High performance , I don't think so......................
I use this as my OS drive for an Intel NUC and it's been flawless for me. Not as fast as a fully fleshed NVME drive but you're getting around 3x SATA SSD performance for similar money to a SATA SSD and power draw/temps between a SATA and full NVME SSD. I would genuinely struggle to notice the difference between this and faster NVME drives for normal OS use.

Looking for a deal for a Crucial MX500 - 500gb if they come on offer again or similar SSD with DRAM.
