Usually dispatched within 2 to 5 weeks.

Seems these 59.99 deals pop up here every day now. So for that reason alone I am voting cold as it seems the going price now.

Seems to be the going rate now. Was £58.99 on PC World the other day.

For a PORTABLE drive? Don't think so!

Bben220. Not self powered they don't. This is a portable drive not a desktop one.

the fifty millionth "I don't understand the difference between a mains-powered external hard drive and a usb-powered external hard drive" thread on HUKD rears its pitiful head

Looks like a 3.5" drive inside?

i have one - works well, its quiet....................what more do you want ?

Looks like a 3.5" drive inside?

How do you work that one out?

By the dimensions on the WD page, 2.5mm drives are 7.5/9mm thick and this is 19?

I guess you're right (_;) although it looks like the drive will be bust anyway (since they'll have had to cut some from the sides to fit it in the 78mm width!!!)

... or maybe most 1TB 2.5" drives are actually 12.5mm thick and there's a case around the drive that accounts for the rest of the thickness?

more to do with formats/codecs the HDTV/Smart TV can handle rather than drive itself
