+1

I ordered the 2tb last weekend.. I don't give out my real phone number, turns out my order was still in 'validation' stage 5 days after I placed the order because Pixmania need to call and confirm the order (how bloody odd). I had to call them up to confirm that I'm a human, not a robot. Will receive it next week now.

Totally agree with everyone pointing out that you can get the 2tb for the same price!!

I ordered this last week, seemed like a good price to me, cheapest I could see it for anyway.

Seems a good price but TBH I would pay more rather than buy from Pixmania.
have a little heat.

I was slightly concerned about ordering from Pixmania, but I too placed an order for the 2TB versions last week. Their order tracking on their website was a bit strange, jumping between the first stage and the last stage and back again several times, but they did arrive within a week (and to the earlier poster, I didn't have any phonecalls from them at all!).
Ordered on the Saturday, arrived the following Friday.

Only unusual thing was they arrived with AC adaptors with the continental style pins, but Pixmania also included 2 adaptors to convert to UK plugs (this was listed in small print of the item description). To be honest though, they were that much cheaper than anywhere else the fact I have to use a (free & supplied) adaptor on the plug doesn't bother me in the slightest!

Who holds the shares is irrelevant mate! Quote from your link - "In March 2007, DSG announced it had identified an "extremely sophisticated fraud" at the Parisian warehouse operations of Pixmania. They are estimated to have lost £10m worth of electronic goods."

Wouldn't touch them (again) with a barge pole, I learnt my lesson the first time!
