This seems like a great price if 500Gb suits your needs. Shame postage bumps price up, but after having a quick look even with postage this is a decent price for a external drive in this size

Thanks to goonertillidie, who mentioned to me the 750GB is available for just £22.99 + Shipping.

Recertified and comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.

£7 Delivery?! Wtf.

Seems like a ploy to get you to spend £50+ for the free delivery. It would only cost £4.40 to send this off on RM Signed For 1st Class, and I'm sure for a company like WD it would be a fraction of even that.

Yeah Definitely. 750gb for under 25 seems decent but at 30 its not really a deal.
Express delivery, 1-3 business days, £13.10!

Have a word with yourselves WD!!

No, they get refurbished/recertified abroad and shipped from Europe. I've bought nearly 10 in various sizes and all arrived within a week, and all still work good as new. I wouldn't go for this deal though unless you buy 3 of them as all orders over £50 are free delivery. And you'll likely get a 20% or £20 discount code for your next purchase of a new device from their main store (ie. not including refurbs).
When I went to my cart and saw the postage fee I clicked to close the window and got a pop up that offered free shipping. Worth a try if that's what's holding you back.
