Ill give this some heat as thats actually a good price for a 500GB USB 3.0 2.5" Portable external hard drive.

Thats what I thought but other people don't think so. If anyone is voting this cold, do tell where I would be able to get a 500GB USB3 portable hard drive.

cannot be true usb3.0 as quoting 3 times faster with usb3 connection whereas it should be at least 10 times faster.
theoretical speeds:
usb2 = 480mb/s
usb3 = 4800mb/s
though neither are likely to be achieved

Thats because the Harddrive itself is limited to about a maximum of probably 800mb/s (100MB/s) so even though USB3 is faster it cannot max it out, but can easily outperform a USB2 device.

It's because most of the voters on here cant count to 3! If there's not "Apple","Xbox360" "High Definition" or "sex toy" in the title it'll get voted cold by the mindless masses.Reminds me of the HukD members party, toilets had a sign on them saying "wet floor" so they did!

Have a bit of heat, every little helps!

Maybe that's because they are telling you what the drive does! Not just quoting the potential maximum throughput of the USB3.0 design standard....
