Only one colour is £89.99 and if you add it to your basket it does show at the lower price.

Did you just have to plug it into the PS4 and let the system work it all out (format)?

Yes it's plug & play. You can enter the settings on the Ps4 & select it as a primary or a secondary drive if you want but I just plugged it in & it worked without a problem. I transferred everything off the PS4 drive on to it & freed up the internal drive
Pretty sure the ultras are no different to the regular besides colour

I believe the ultra came out first, then they bought the single coloured ones out after

Still good price I paid like £99 for a plain black one
Ultra is metal bottom and plastic top whereas the regular is just plastic.
Picked up a WD Elements 4TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive yesterday for £50 from Tesco in Hucknall, Notts. Also had WD My Passport 1TB USB 3.0 External Drives going for £17.50, all brand new, still shrink wrapped.

Maybe it's me but ...

I don't see no eBay 15% off code anywhere?.

Or am I missing something ... lol.

It's still £89.99 on there (IF you Fast Track).

But 15% off of the £89.99 (if collected), would surely bring you to less than £85 all in? (surely?).

As it's be more than £10 off the £89.99 price (at 15% off?), and not just, just under £6 alone ... )

Or is it just me?, thanx. :-)

The link to the eBay code is in my post.

I only see the 4tb white/gold for £99 on eBay.
Could I use this with a Nvidia shield Plex server?

Hey from where did u buy 1 TB for £17.50?

My Girlfriend spotted them at Tesco Extra, Hucknall, Nottingham They only put 1 of the 4TB's out (which she picked up for me), not sure if they had more in the back or not. I think they had a few of the 1TB ones, but probably all gone now no doubt.
Lucky man to have a gf who can spot it and buy for u.

Lucky indeed :). She's usually at work at that time of day, but finished early and popped in to see they were discounting stuff. She did look at it, then put it down to text me the details of it, while she was doing that, someone else picked it up, looked at it, and luckily put it back down. Soon as I got the message that it was a 4TB drive for £50, I just told her to grab it lol :). She got a 1TB "My Passport" for herself, and says there were a few more of those being put out at the time :). They also had WD 1TB "My Passport" AV-TV Storage drives, to record TV straight to the Drive, those were reduced from £48 to £24 :).

Great price OP, heat from me.

Tech question, anyone: I have two WD MyBooks hooked up to my computer, both mains powered. One is ageing and only 3TB, I need a bigger one. I have a cloning program setup to run once a day to back up the system: would this portable HD be ok to replace the mains powered drive do you think? Or are they designed in a way so not to be connected all the time?

I have 2tb attached to my router and it serves all computers with media for almost 5 year now. Not a single issue.

Cool, thanks for that-I didn't know if there would be anything detrimental about leaving a portable plugged in all the time.

Could I use this with a Nvidia shield Plex server?

You can, but be aware there is a bug in the Shield OS that affects some users whereby external devices essentially disconnect themselves after a while (not sure if it's specific to Plex Server). Nvidia have confirmed the issue and say it should be fixed in the next OS update, although they won't say when that will be.
Do not need it, but damn me I have purchased one.

I hate this site.
Have one of these already, paid a similar price about a year ago, for me WD are the only hard drives that I buy

However, it is pretty difficult not to need to fill up more disks with more needless data, after some xx terabytes.

Got a link for that info, bud?
Note these drives have the USB interface as part of the controller board, not SATA, so are not very useful for shucking
Good price! Heat added
Do these work with a Xbox one?
