Typical. I've just ordered a Pi 3 and a WD 64gb usb pidrive for £45. This is a nice price for a Pi, Drive and Keyboard.
May as well order one, set up a network music server.
It's a nice bit of kit
Got a pi 3 about 3 months ago
and what did I buy after?
All the the items in the pack
I wish I knew this before
so what I’m saying is this is a great deal ,you may source the other items a little cheaper but it’s a all in one hit for an ok price (sd card 4g you can do better than that)

Yes, the 4gb sd card is really only to boot up the os from the hdd. It's the same with the 64gb usb set I bought.
Would this be any good for a retro gaming setup, ie retro pie?
Would this work as a music server for Spotify etc? And Netflix?
Anyone who brought this managed to get it set up?
Yes I have managed to get it set up. Really like the case; the keyboard & mouse are fine....& great to have lots of space and different instances of the os to do different stuff on.... the special cable that joins Hd, pi & psu together nice too. Not bad at all for the price.

I’m new to pi but got the kids a fuze for Xmas so want to get ahead of the game & this looks the way to go.

Loads of other separate bits n bobs on the wd labs bit of the store too.

When you went with the installation did you connect it to network? It says not to but then fails to find the install files.

Yes I did. Via Ethernet cable. First time it said ‘could not make partition’ or the like but second time it worked & downloaded the various bits of software for the various partitions.
I've been looking around to buy one so this is as good as any!
