It is Only £66.99 in Blue, when it's back in stock.
Doesn't really matter on the colour, does it?

It doesn't matter technically. However others, less expensive are not in stock..
Do these work with ps4 and xbox one?
And how reliable are recertified drives? Anyone have any longer term experienced with them to comment?

I have recertified my cloud. Nothing wrong with it. Running with no issues for last 8 months..
Quite often on here these recertified drives, always wondered if these are refurbished faulty drives? If so you have to question how good the products are as I said these are always on here.

I would think they're faulty refurbished drives. I mean what else could they be? Im concerned about their reliability. Hoping some people with experience of them would comment?
You might notice that nearly all these re certified drives are caddied. A duff drive won't suddenly become economical to repair.
However caddies and usb modules can be fixed easily.
This is a bit cheeky though as these red/orange 4 gig drives were only 66.99 a few days ago!

I've had my yellow 4tb one about 6-8 months no problems and not easy to misplace.

Indeed, you'd think there must be entire Western Digital factories just churning out substandard drives, simply to fulfil the number of offers on recertified drives which get posted here.
Nice.

It doesn't matter the colour but it's prudent to get differing coloured drives if your multiple. I now have an orange one to go with the black and white I already have. Getting 2 recertified drives is ok as you would be best mirroring your drives anyway, as long as you assess the increased risk of recopying the files whether that time is worth saving 60 on 2 4tb I think it is. The red has gone

Looks like all gone. Thanks.
Do they they wipe the drives smart data back to zero or can you see how much it's been used before

Been using my recertified 2 GB as Xbox extended storage for a few months.

It's the least risky use of them as if it fails I've not really lost anything.

I was also wondering if a recertified drive has been used before and the data has been completely wiped so I'm not liable for undelete if it goes for repair on some recovered dodgy files.
