Dont know why its showing 72.00 when you click the link, on my email it shows 69.99

Cheapest UK seller I can see now: Hey just had this email from Dabs, 69.99 seems a bargain for this, and now they fixed the Netflix Sign in issue, I have had no problems with mine so far. I am using my Macbook pro with plex, but can find this a pain so going to buy this for the livingroom. as its just easier to use.

Let me know if you want the email if you cannot locate. PM Me

Have updated the price. It seems to be quite common for Dabs to do this. The email newsletter price doesn't reflect on site every now and again.

If it's showing at £69.99 for you, clear your cache and you'll see it reverts back to the current £72.99 price

It will be just for you unfortunately. I've had several others test and it's coming up at £72.99 for us even using the email link i'm afraid.
So do you want a copy of the email and you can buy at 69.99 as I just bought it and email invoice says 69.99

I've switched it back as hopefully others will also get the email. It could be a newsletter exclusive. So the price will be valid for any going through that
If anyone cant buy, let me know and send me your email and will forward you the email I got, or if you have signed up to dabs got the email at 23:45 last night.

Going via the offers email sent by Dabs this morning I can get this in the basket for £69.99.....great media streamers and this is the best price that I've ever seen for this version.
So good I bought another one, was not going to but now they fixed that netflix thing I am happy to buy another 1.
I've got a previous version. Great Media Player that annoyingly does not stream BBC iPlayer. Does this one?
good device, had problems with my first one after three months got it replaced, kept switching itself on, but still have problems playing aac encoded thru hdmi to my surround setup have to change it to stereo

yes, new one is far superior to the old one (netflix, iplayer, facebook, spotify etc etc; auto content info / backdrop fetch, much cleaner interface, wifi and lots more).

Yep, the newer model is awesome I've not had any problems with it really. Doesn't struggle playing a 40gb bluray rip either via a usb 3.0 hardrive
What's this like for wireless steaming? Is it smooth?

Really got a 45GB Armageddon movie with dolby true hd and it plays perfect over ethernet
The price discrepancy is because they often use different quicklinx codes for their email bargains. If you search for 7R19CE00 you'll get the lower price. You'll also want that to go via Quidco/TCB etc.
Brilliant bit of kit, very pleased with mine.
Simply the best media player out there. Team it up with a nice big HDD and get rid of all those old fashioned round shiny things.
Oh but don't forget to back up that HDD or bye bye film collection!?!?!
I'm not familiar with these, do they have a web browser?
Good bit of kit. Firmware isn't brilliant though, they fixed netflix but broke other stuff in the last update (rolled back to 1.07.18 here).
can you stream the footy downstairs with this? and if so will the quality be any better when it is stretched? or is it down to the quality of the stream itself?

thanks
Can I ask some dumb questions? I have a media player connected to my main TV via HDMI and that is connected an ext HD - so I view downloaded stuff - and thats all it can do.

What else does this do? (keep it a bit simple, in non-techie speak please) Thanks
Is this device affected by Cinavia?
how do i use this with xbmc and a proliant server? do i need to have a hard drive still connected or just stream it across? i have a samsung smart tv but cannot use the xbmc with it.
Roughly this price in Costco (£70.xx) if you need it quicker.

No web browser
I was thinking of getting one of these until I came across ps3 media server.. I can now stream any 1080p mkv movie via my samsung DLNA HD TV, Oh and i don't need to worry about Cinavia!

Was just about to say this myself, I picked one up a few weeks ago to replace my old wdtv live, this is much nicer than the older one, the wifi streaming works fine

Mine is not affected at all.

WDTV is good for the money but XBMC & Popcorn Hour are better.
I watch Netflix UK through my Ps3. With one of these (and a few tweaks) would I be able to watch Netflix USA?
*Please note the item is Mac compatible but does NOT yet support OSX Lion

Just stream from your computer, no need to connect hard drive to Western digital. It does not work with XBMC
If i install xbmc on the proliant it wont stream to the tv with this then? i thought i did
Anyone had any issues with this struggling to play stuff? Does it not like certain codex, or will it play anything you throw at it?
Does this have 4od and itv player?
Sorry to ask stupid questions...I watch series online, on watchseries.eu. Would this enable me to watch them on the TV? And do you need to have an LCD TV or would it work on a CRT?

It uses its own interface and uses your computer for its shared drives. If you want to use XBMC you could put a graphics card in your computer and connect directly to tv
