Looks like mods had to intervene because _your_ assumption that most people could easily spot the age of the car was wrong :D

Gozer

Looks like the HUKD mods have changed the title for him now.

bilbob

Would love you to show me examples of cars advertised as 'ex demo' that are three years old, versus ones that are under a year? It's a *very* reasonable assumption.

virgil47

Assumptions again! D'oh!

pc_tech86

Lol why would you lease a car that's worth 5k???

It won’t let me reply to chat. It says it’s locked. Don’t settle for the fiesta. They tried that with us. Tell them you want the same or better and from the VW group. We got a Q2

ronald484848

Any luck with Seat today?

ronald484848

Keep going. I’ve got a courtesy car until they fix it. It’s a complete shambles and complete joke. The worst part is they are still selling the cars and half the people who have them don’t know they have a potential safety fault

rickybd

Just got off the phone with seat UK and they confirmed it is unsafe but then argued when I asked for another car until a time mine is safe. Absolute shambles

rickybd

I rang seat and they said the repair they carried out on my car has fixed the fault and they have no idea about this sticker saying not to use the rear seat.

Not the most exciting of cars, especially if you get it in plain white. The deal is initial payment of £504 followed by monthly payments of £168. No processing fee. Mileage allow… Read more

they are good examples but they are all closer to 3 years old. But I take your point, they are cheaper than I thought.

Luke4efc

Read my other post on the first page. I posted 3 around the 2 year age.

SFconvert

You'd do well to get a 2 year one of these for £8.5k though, unless you scour the auctions maybe...

Exactly why you should always take a lease offer to your local deal to match as they more often than not can and will and have the car there and maybe other colours/trims etc. Plus you've started that relationship should you need any assistance with the car/warranty etc.

Really and just how much of the overall pollution is caused by driving a car vs. powering your computer/device to post this message, having your mail delivered by the postie in his diesel van, the diesel trucks that deliver all the products to the shops, the ships that move the goods around the planet or the planes we fly in for travel? I'm all for living a cleaner life with less impact on the planet but I think it's fair to say diesel cars are by no means the worst offenders. p.s. I have a 2010 Hyundai i20 1.4L CRDi for sale @ £2850ono which gets up to 83MPG.

He's not offering a good deal on a Jag / Audi though, but it is a good deal on a brand new Polo GTI - i dont think this is top gear and which car is better. Its the best offer on a POLO GTI ....... and although i prefer Ferraris, this gets a hot!!!!

deeyup

Why the hell have all these lease companies started using big deposits. Whatever happened to the usual 3 months down? Of course it's to make the headline monthly figures look low. What's next? £1.99 per month, after £5000 down? Btw, this deal is quite poor I'd say. The same car was similar monthlies a while back but with only 3 months down.

dogwalker1

As I’ve said on a parallel post be careful, some of the cars offered by this company are not new.

Rastafari

Also, 1.8 TSI was available in the old model and not in the new model.

Guzzle

The description in the link states 3 door. The new model is only available as a 5 door.
