Couldn't agree more i got mine probably same time as you. I've done spit roasts on it and 8 hr brisket and short ribs. Side burner is useful and easish to clean

Good price. Tempted but I don't believe it's a full 10 year warranty.
Wonder if Costco are classed as an approved retailer for this too:

weber.com/GB/…tml
I've gone for this, I believe it's a model from a few years ago, but fingers crossed it may be usa built in that case.
What the max size gas tank this can take?

13kg on the side bit.

Thanks Jack Bauer! I'm going to get this too. Correct me if I'm wrong but it has everything the Spirit II at this price point doesn't, i.e. :
Doors
Gas tank cover
Sear station
Side burner
Made in US (as opposed to China so maybe better quality build)

Why does the Spirit II even exist??!!
Would you go for this or the
Weber® Spirit™ II E-320 GBS ??

Im not sure its made in US, just hoping. But yes everything you mention is in it, 3 burners is fine for my needs.

See my post above. With the Spirit II you get NO doors, NO gas tank cover, NO sear station, NO side burner. Tell me if I'm wrong

I've commented on this the last time this deal was around (hotukdeals.com/com…236)

yetsosimple 16/04/2020 12:33 This is a very competitive price. The Spirit E-330 GBS Premium is better built than the Spirit II, like the E-320. Even if you don't need the sear station, it's still worth getting the E-330 of a Spirit II. The hood is higher and you get a closed cabinet. Yes, the new Spirit II have the GS4 system, but this is only marginally improved over the older Spirit system. The end result in terms of food quality will be very similar, but the E-330 Premium is just the nicer model. Weber probably made the Spirit II series a bit simpler to make the difference to the Genesis larger (but you can pick up the Spirit II E-320 for £540 including a premium Weber Cover from bbqworld.co.uk/m/w…ote that this is most likely the "old" E-330 Premium. The new model has the removable grate section not centred, but over the sear section and the sear button is bright red. But this is not listed on Weber UK, but on Weber Germany and Austria (weber.com/DE/…l).

I've bought this from Costco at it's excellent. There was an issue with the regulator and Weber promptly sent a replacement.

I got one of these from Costco few months ago (and put the deal on here). Great bbq for the money, sear station a must imo.

I bought a mini kamado charcoal BBQ and I'm finding it great but did a brisket over 4 hours and just didn't like the smoky flavour. I assume you don't get that with gas?

Ah, so that's how they want to shift the Spirit II's and Genesis II's. They have full warranty. but the older ones only limited warranty.
It's a bit absurd that the cooking grates and flavourizer bars of Spirit II have full warranty and Spirit limited when they are identical...

I've bought the Classic Accessories Ravenna Large Barbecue Grill Cover 64'' (163cm). costco.co.uk/Gar…143

(Limited) Lifetime warranty, half the price of the original Weber and appears really great quality.
Had this model for 4 years. Absolutely amazing. Done normal British BBQ, full roast chicken, brisket and ribs. Best BBQ ever had.
Got one earlier today, seems a good deal
WOW. .. is this really worth nearly £600? Do you have to be a member of Costco to purchase this?
Edited by: "KERMITZBITZ" 12th Jun
Only you can answer that with a bit of research🤷 make an informed choice, if you scroll through thread most feedback from owners is very good, you do need to be an online subscriber @ £15 a year.

Costco would be the best place to purchase in light of anything going wrong through item defect, that said it's a gas bbq, very little could fail, imo.

What was the issue with the regulator if you don't mind me asking? Will it come with one for Propane?

Will be first time BBQ for me. Any tips/accessories you can recommend please? Thanks in advance.
Genuine question: how can this be 20 times more expensive than a basic BBQ? Does it really make a difference? Is it just because there is a bit more space?
Good deal, if you're getting one I'd recommend an inkbird ibt thermometer, great piece of kit.
Not sure the sear station is a necessity my spirit classic gets over 500 degrees fairly quickly.
The spirit ii grills also have slightly less powerful burners, I believe the warranty is better on these as the powder coating is improved and more durable
