Homebase selling Weber 47cm Kettle BBQ covers for £9.93 instead of £16.99. Showing online as out of Stock. But when I went to Dunfermline Homebase to collect 47cm BBQ they had at least 8 of the covers on the shelves priced at £16.99. But when they scanned one for me it came up at £9.93.

Weber doesn't need a cover

As a deal it's a good price, but if you get one look at ways to secure it as there's no drawstring. I had one and it went walkies on the first windy day.

Why write telling me that interesting piece of information. It's Weber you should be telling, they probably don't realise that they are wasting all that waterproof material.

This is a cheap price for this BBQ cover so voted hot. However..... it's extremely flimsy and easily tears - it'll last you one year at best, so a good deal initialy but set your expectations. Due to a lack of drawstring (as someone else mentioned earlier) I wrapped it round the bottom of the legs of the BBQ and held in place with clothes pegs.

Maybe to save people wasting a tenner on a rubbish cover?

Weber's warranty covers rust. Their BBQs are a lot more hard wearing than most. This cover, on the other hand, is cheap tat that will last a year, two tops. Doesn't seem to be much point in buying it really.

I bought the Premium cover as the basic cover seemed very flimsy.

Premium cover is way better. I have two Webers, one as a dedicated rotisserie, and both have the premium covers. If anyone is lucky enough to travel to the U.S. regularly then buy your accessories there. I'm always bringing back chimney starters, covers, tools, etc as they are way cheaper, like 1/3 of the price over there. I did manage to bring a smokey joe back too As others have said this cover is basic and can also crack/split in the heat, although if that happens Weber will replace it - their customer service is quite simply outstanding!

Mines a good 2 year old and in great condition but like others have said they do tend to get bored and travel with the wind to get some alone time ;p mine was in next door plus 1 on a windy day so from then on I put a weight on top.and its not moved since

these things blow away very easily, and mine tore and was effectively useless within a couple of months

I had one of these and it must have lasted about a year. The sun made the top go all crispy and fell apart. I wouldn't recommend it.

mine lasted only a year.goes hard after that and cracks. better to buy beer for that 10

Telling this thread because the product is unnecessary, simple

Got last one in Auldhouse Retail Park this morning (despite being out of stock online) - low price now marked on shelf. Might mean there's still some out there.
