Been looking for a decent barbecue for a while now and this looks to be the best deal I can find on this model.

I don't know much about this supplier but they sell a good range of Weber barbecues and they're all pretty much the cheapest I can find.

Bear in mind this is not the "Compact" model which I am aware is cheaper but has a shallower bowl and is therefore not suitable for certain types of barbecuing.

Well the mob has decided against this one, but take my word for it, this is a good deal for this model...

...and it won't have turned into a rusting pile of twisted metal by this time next year either.

I have just seen this also and currently the cheapest price I can find for the 47cm one touch original. Don't know why cold? Going to keep an eye see what peoples comments are?

but is it really worth paying 70% more than the 47cm weber compact? mine bbqs everything i put in it just fine.

Depends what you want to do with it. The compact has a shallow bowl which is fine for burgers and chicken wings but if you want to slow cook/smoke something you need to use indirect heat which requires something a little deeper to prevent it charring.

Just pointing out its a crap deal considering the compact does the same thing and is only £54.99

And I'm just pointing out that I'm not going to get bogged down in a pointless forum argument over a sodding barbecue, frankly I have better things to do.

Have to agree with chocci. This would be a good deal if it was for the 57cm One Touch, but as it's the 47cm then you might as well just buy the compact.

Give them there due, for a 47cm one touch it is the CHEAPEST around! Therefore no need for the cold votes.

I'm now trying to find a 57cm one touch as it is a lot more adaptable and more accessories can be used with it!

I would post it but I don't think it'll go down all that well.

That's the cheapest I've found so far for the 57cm also...I've read on other threads about getting go outdoors to price match, but I don't think they do the 57cm one touch???

World of power offer a price match policy, and they stock the 57cm. I've just used it to buy the package deal in with the cover and tools included.

Some may think I'm an idiot for spending that sort of money on a barbecue but I've already spent a comparable amount over the years on pieces of junk that end up on the tip after a single season and I fully intend to see that 10 year warranty through to the death.
