The Weber 670 is rarely discounted, so its great to see that this bbq is part of a site wide 10% discount .

For those unfamiliar with the E670, its an excellent BBQ which will outlast most others.

Again, this site annoys me. People are simply voting cold on the basis that it’s expensive item, not whether it’s a good price for the item. This isn’t a site about getting the cheapest possible products available, it’s a site about getting the best possible price on whatever the product is. I’ve not voted either way but thanks for the post.

Shame it doesn’t come with a seasonal BBQ chef for that price. Good piece of kit but overkill for most of us unless you have a huge appetite and eat half a pig each time.
Should it read £34.19
Even with a lifetime supply of meat that's steep for a BBQ 🐖🥩
“Remember, if voting, this is not a ballot of whether or not A. You worked hard at school and can afford it or B. Whether you would be willing to pay this amount - the aim of HDUK is to bring to the attention of the group items you think are good value.”

Thanks for the speech.... the irony is quite funny....you haven’t even brought a good deal to the table... I’m getting deja vu...
...right in time for my November BBQ session
Due to weather this year, used BBQ about 5 times, lol.. So for that reason "I'mmmm ooot". 😁

That’s such a good deal I’d like to offer double for it
Can't see anybody with brains dropping 3k+ on a bbq.

Can you expand on how this is not a good deal? Please provide a comparable which is a better deal; you will struggle to find this BBQ at a price-point near this.
Ouch, I only paid slightly more for my whole kitchen
As per the op's request, I'm voting cold. Not because I can or can't afford it, but just because I do not think this represents good value for money.

I understand what you are saying but then common sense kicks in, £3419 for a BBQ

I guess for the stinking rich its OK.

Can you please expand on how this is not a deal? Please provide a comparable or the same item at a cheaper price. I suspect you can’t hence why this deal was posted.

Its usually this time of year when most BBQ items are discounted. Hence the post. Additionally, I BBQ all year round. Just saying.

If I won the lotto tomorrow ie 170million gbp I would even spend this on a silly bbq

I enjoy the social aspect of BBQing with friends and family. I don’t waste money smoking, I don’t spend weeknights down the ‘local boozer’.... I can be frugal in certain areas, but absolutely have no issues spending my hard earned money on items that I enjoy; Its not a result of having a ‘lack of brains’.

Be almost cheaper to fly to US, grab one from Walmart for $2750, and have a short holiday to boot.

I’m thinking that “whether you would be willing to pay this amount” and “items you think are good value” are related!

Ok, you don’t wish to spend your hard earned money on a bbq, but I do, as would many others. It’s not a case of ‘anything expensive is a waste of money’...

Plus, buying a bbq is hardly the definition of stinking rich!

Just the way life rolls I’m afraid, people annoy people and people are allowed to vote whichever way they want on sites like this...
£3400 for a BBQ?!
What will it do differently to my £80 one from B&Q that’s exactly the same size?

Wrong. Different model. The E670 is not full stainless steel but partly black enamel. That said, the 10% code would still work for this model, thus making it even cheaper again.... an equally good deal to that listed. If you can find a cheaper price on the model listed, bravo; it might take a little more work than a quick google though.
I voted hot. Yes it is a lot of money but at the end of the day that thing might last a lifetime (except the Weber covers which go hard after a few years) when looked after. Also you get spare parts all day long which you can’t get for your B&Q. I have a Weber Q300 and love it. I paid £380 for it and when I posted a similar deal it was voted cold all day long. Price is awesome for high end stainless. Some American units are double if not triple that money. If I would have a large family and more space in the garden and my Q300 no longer functioning I would get this as well.

Yep, I take it back. Can't find it cheaper in the UK than this.
I have 3 x bbqs a year.... I might buy a new one each time.... at £100 a pop from B&Q I don’t have to clean one for 10 years!!😜

The concept of the site is, as it’s name would suggest, a place to post ‘Hot Deals’. It would benefit from fact, not personal opinion, otherwise it turns out to be a ballot on ‘what are people willing to pay for something’ irrelevant of whether it’s a deal or not.

This post is a classic example of how those on HDUK are unwilling to see past whether an item is affordable or not. It would appear that expensive items are automatically voted down. I could create a post for 10% off a pizza from Iceland and it would go hot; but post a BBQ deal which saves hundreds of pounds and it’s gone cold.... I’m not sure it’s me missing the concept!

Go on then I’ll bite....
“It would benefit from fact, not personal opinion”
An item is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay... basic economics and a “ballot of opinion”...supply and demand drives prices and not “fact”. If somebody has a personal opinion that an item is too expensive they don’t buy it.. demand falls and so does the price.
The fact that you are prepared to pay a vast amount of money for a bbq keeps demand up and you keep paying high prices to stand out from the crowd with a good quality product...your prerogative.
I will pay good money for good shoes and ignore cheaper alternatives... horses for courses... I don’t come on here with my underpants on my head on a crusade to convert everybody though cause your item is colder than a witches tit.
BBQs in November should be 50 to 70% of their summer value.... not 89%....
“a place to post hot deals”.... you wanna try it sometime....
