Any of the cold voters like to post a better price?

Weber don't do 5kg bags?
Don’t compare these to cheap ones in B&M etc. These are regarded by BBQ enthusiasts as the best you can buy, and they don’t contain all the nasty chemicals they stick in the cheapo ones.
Fair enough...I shall freely admit to not being an enthusiast
Trash...can buy cheaper ones in home bargains

And you would be buying trash with petrol added to it

This stuff burns much longer than the supermarket briquettes. Think the cold votes might be because it's been around £7.40 ish lately but off course I dont have a time machine
Good price on some quality briquettes.
I guess it depends on what you want and how much you are cooking. All of our needs are small family affairs, so even the cheap supermarket stuff is still red hot long after we have finished cooking. If you are cooking for a crowd then can see the benefit of longer lasting stuff.

The thing with the cheap stuff is they add nasty stuff to it. I wouldn’t want my food getting smoke from petrochemicals and non natural binders on it. For health and flavour reasons.

I'd be much more worried about what's in the meat than what's in the charcoal

Along with heat beads, but they do take a bit more effort to light

Totally Agree 100% would not use this stuff for normal bbqing. But for low and slow Weber or heat beads are .
Fantastic charcoal, much better than your average supermarket brand. 1kg of these will slow cook for 9-10 hours using the snake method.

Amazing for pulled pork, ribs, brisket etc. The cold voters simply don’t understand the difference between this and the cheap rubbish from Tesco, etc
