John Lewis will also pricematch if you prefer to buy through them
Anyone got one of these? How big are they regarding what you can fit on them in one go?
Great deal. Bought two days ago for 68 but this is a great price
You could cook 4 steaks on them. Best way is to fill one side with charcoal and use it as direct heat and other side as indirect heat. Then use the vents etc to control the cooking - fantastic quality item
This or a smokey Joe?

Well said. I used to buy a new BBQ every year as it rusted. A weber lasts many many years and the indirect heat idea is outstanding.

You should have gone to primark. Shorts + sandals + shirt = £10

Says it all really. Did you really think that list of sweat shop over price tat would impress us?

At least the BBQ has greater durability and longevity built into its price.

No, I've used both. Disposable are not a patch on these. Compares equally with normal charcoal BBQs. I love mine. Also, you can top up with charcoal with you can't on a disposable. And more eco

Pound foolish penny wise!
Good price for this. You can use it like an oven, cooked a whole chicken on mine
I have had mine about 7 years now and i paid £50, very highly recommended as you can control the cooking speed either with the top or bottom vents. This BBQ does have feet ( as shown) but its NOT going to stop the ground from scorching due to the high temperatures, so just remember that.
Not a Weber and probably won't last as long, but I got a great little travel BBQ for £16 from IKEA if anyone is looking for a cheaper option that is a step up from a throw away: ikea.com/gb/…31/

Not sure they would let your dirty old BBQ on our clean beaches.

google.com/amp…amp

Anyway lotus grills or even cheap copy versions are way better than these & I have both.
Great bit of kit, good enough for dinner for four

Use it properly, small amount of coals for direct cooking, or push to one side for indirect and use like an oven

Good guidance sheet included by Weber and LOADS of videos on YouTube how to make best use of kettle type BBQs
Ordered , thx
We've had one for years, they're fab.
These are excellent little barbecues. I've had one for about eight years and it's still in very good condition. The side vents can be tricky to adjust when it's hot but otherwise it's brilliant. Larger charcoal lumps do need to be broken down though.
Sounds to me like they are fine for single blokes to be honest... prolly get 3 fish fingers on it... most likey fits in cyclists bumbags too..

Correct... single = one... but as long as you're happy
Some fools buy cheap and buy twice.
Ordered one thanks
Thanks OP - been waiting on a good price for one of these. It looks like they have some other great prices on Weber gear - the Smokey Joe looks a good deal to me.

This or a smokey Joe?

This by far. It's shape is more practical and it's much, much easier to cook indirectly on this than on the smokey joe. If it had handles on the side like the U.S. model I'd buy it despite already owning the U.S. version.

I have one, depending how you want to cook you can have 6 chicken thighs cooking indirect or 10 thighs (this all depends on their size of course)

I've comfortably cooked a light bbq for 3.

Is there a book on how to cook on indirect heat?
