Terrible reviews on Amazon. Apparently not the usual Weber quality

Strange. I've got this model and it's absolutely top notch. There were a couple of bad reviews that seemed to suffer from bad build quality around black Friday but I've not had any problems. It is excellent. Plus weber warranty is great talking from experience having a grill grate on a gas BBQ replaced that had rusted after a couple of years of use. My weber kettle has been used pretty much weekly throughout the winter. Definitely recommend the rotisserie.. but its about the same price as the BBQ itself.

Damn its out of stock on B&Q.

I've asked if they'll price match it anyway - fingers crossed.

Probably has to be a stocked item for them to match, and it's out of stock
Great barbie; would recommend the version with a thermometer in the lid: its very useful.
Webers has a New Weber® Master-Touch GBS SE E-5755 Charcoal Grill 57cm (removable lid & not much difference) & New Weber Master-Touch GBS E-5775 Charcoal Barbecue 57 cm with a pull up lid and has a few more than this one (which I have ), so I guess all stores will be getting rid of this one on hot deals and upgrading to the E-5755 & E-5775.

Here is a video I saw for the differences, as if you like pull up lids might change your mind (I would have)

There are new ones without the pull up tops Weber® Master-Touch GBS SE E-5755 Charcoal Grill 57cm £269 and the bbqs with the pull up Weber® Master-Touch GBS Premium SE E-5775 Charcoal Grill 57cm £332 (but might change or different other places).

Here is a link I found from Wow BBQs which shows the prices atm of the new bbqs.

Heat(y)
Webers should have named them using a different name as anybody could be mistaken on what they are buying as not all stores give the full name of the BBQs. Here is the Master-Touch's available:

OLD
Weber Master-Touch® GBS® 57cm

NEW
Weber® Master-Touch GBS SE E-5755 Charcoal Grill 57cm
Weber® Master-Touch GBS Premium SE E-5775 Charcoal Grill 57cm

Here is a link to show the differences, but not many comparing the old and new (E-5755) .

Maybe You can still try & get your local Go outdoors to price match? Worth a try? it all depends on who serves you!
Look after this and you'll get at least 20 years of service out of it, you can't beat the Weber Kettles.

Chuck in a Slow N Sear and you also have a credible smoker to make Brisket etc

The new MasterTouch is designed for smoking with a heat deflector plate.
To price match with Go Outdoors, i've been told in the past that you have to be a member, so add £5 for a yearly membership.

Yep, but if you aren't a member the price is £5 dearer. Not a big deal but some people might be put off by having to then sign up. In this case the small membership fee is worth it.

My Webber is over 35 years old, I had to replace the grill last year and the cover blew away in a storm but other than that it still looks new (apart from the fact it has wooden handles). If it it ever rusts/ breaks I will buy another Webber.
I paid £200 for the exact same one, which I think is a bit overpriced for what it is. I think these are worth about £150 so £134 is definitely a good deal.

Good spot but doubt they’ll price match as it’s a clearance item.

anyone confirm they’ve had a price match from go outdoors on this deal?

Does anyone use a cover on their Mastertouch ? I got mine in the Homebase deal a few years back.

Beer ribs are excellent on it

They are worth a fortune on the Weber kettle forums .

Mines not shop condition though. It's actively used a dozen or so times a year.
Great price for this. This bbq will last a lifetime and won't rust. Ive had a weber 10 years. Left outside for years at a time. No rust.
These charcoal BBQs will be banned one day. Charcoal is a carcinogen.

Gas BBQs are easier control, less faff to get going and less likely to burn your food.

That is tandoor. It has made a long way from the Ukraine (where it has been manufactured) to UK. This thing is very popular in Kazakhstan, Mongolia and neighbor Asia countries. Also very popular in South Caucasus.
I used to do a lot charcoal grill bbq. Really a lot. Countless times. Once I got tandoor (have it 3 years now) won't go for charcoal bbq grill anymore unless there is no tandoor around

Now all we need is a deal on the weber coals...can't seem to find a good deal on those.

Or you could just learn how to cook properly on a BBQ and enjoy the most delicious of meals.

A gas BBQ has it’s advantages, but for taste of the final offering and range of uses you can’t touch a traditional charcoal kettle version
