I ordered one in Crimson, perfect for next season and a saving of £91 off rrp.

hopefully I'll still get a few good bbq's in before the season is out, for some smoked slow cooked brisket

you should have a couple of days this week for a BBQ, considering getting mine out for later!

looks exactly same as one form Wickes I got for £7.50 last year does the meat taste better from Weber?

Probably not. You could say the same about almost any kitchen appliance or utensil too. Some prefer to buy cheap and cheerful, others would rather pay more for quality.

Sadly I can't justify the 180 quid for the advantages this has over my regular Weber 57 kettle and seeing as they seem to last forever, there's no point in buying it as a spare. Cracking price though!

I've had the Premium one touch for a few years now and was looking to update the grill to the Gourmet grate but the very high price of the accessories put me off. Expect to add a fair few quid (potentially hundreds) on top of this to buy anything that fits into the centre circle like the wok, pizza stone etc.
Nice but I'd stick with the cheaper Premium which has flaps either side to replenish the charcoal without pulling the grate off, unless you specifically want/ need the accessories and have the extra dosh.
Great BBQ btw, no rust on the enamel dome top/ bottom / inside or legs, even though its outside all year round. Grate the charcoal lumps sit on rusts quite quickly though, but still perfectly solid.
Only pain is not having a table to rest bits on, and trying to find one cheaply is difficult. I've got tool hooks on so tools are fine, but had to buy a small table to stand separately for the food bits.
Get yourself a Weber Chimney starter to go with it. You wont regret it. Miles better than the cheap knock-offs.

Only quality is the food that come out form bbq and different sticker on top of the lid will not make any food taste better.
Enjoy the weather

I bbq all year round. When it rains I use gas . The difference is the steel sheet which is thicker can keep the heat better, allowing you to cook with less coal, do pizza ....Also it doesn't rust that easily.
If you do 10 bbqs per year there's no point in buying an expensive one.
But to reply to the previous comment: "The food is actually cooked faster and better, and you are more flexible in how you cook"

leave it out over winter, I will leave my Weber out again (which I have done for the last 3 years) and we will see which one is standing still(heads up, Weber won't have a spot of rust on it)

mhhh so even if the cheap bbq only last 1 year (it will much longer but let's not even go there) and I will get one each year that's over 23 years before I get to one Weber from this post - doubt it will last 23 years I will also wait 10 seconds longer for my food oh well

Well said, i've had a cheap one now for 4 years, store it in the shed when not being as im not idle and can be bothered to move things out of my garden and still in same condition as day i bought it. Each to their own though, horses for courses and all that

I live in London with a tiny garden and the shed space alone that a BBQ would take up is worth more to me than the cost of this Weber, so to me it's well worth it for something that I know from experience can be left out all year. Since owning a couple of Weber's I've also started BBQing year round as they both live just outside my patio doors permanently. Each to their own as you say though....if you BBQ once in a blue moon for a party or something then it's a lot of money but I still think a basic Weber kettle, that can be had for under 100 quid if you catch the right deal, is in the long term a better option than the cheapo equivalents, even if only for occasional use. Just my opinion after 20 years of throwing out a number of rusty broken BBQ's!

If your delectation is medium rare chicken and charcoal sausages, as is the British summer tradition, this is unlikely to appeal to you.

I use my weber more than I use my oven, the quality shines and I wouldn't go back to buying a new poverty spec clone each year, you get what you pay for.

Please show me the bbq you can repeatedly pick up year after year for £7.50.

Anyway, the bbq arrived today, its rather splendid if I may say so! Exceptionally well made, they appear to have thought of everything.

My old 47cm bbq was great to learn on, but lacks space when cooking for more than a few people.

A bad workman always blames his tools lol

If it is in the same condition as the day you bought it, then it sounds like it hasn't been used.

Great bit of kit, talk about built to last.
Only thing I thought it missed was the warming rack so I got one off Amazon when it was £20 weberbbq.co.uk/pro…ck/
