Week in Goa B&B £445.50pp in March at well rated hotel with TUI

Found 7th Feb
2890478.jpgA very decent price for a week long haul! Already a good price at £546pp but with their LH200 code it brings it down to £445.50pp

Departs Friday 9th March from Manchester flying on a Dreamliner.

Hotel is the MARINHA DOURADA and official rating is 3 star but seems to be good reviews on Tripadvisor with 4 bubbles.

Ideal time to visit Goa too with lots of sun and little rain - would make a nice change from here!

Bed and breakfast, 20kg luggage and transfers included.

There is no way I am going there. It is full of deprivation, everywhere is filthy and it just stinks. I bet you would catch no end of diseases and 100% guaranteed food poisoning. Now if there were flights from London I might be interested.

Don't forget you need a Visa to enter India. This can be done online now
Excellent price if a little short a break but with hotel included it's brilliant. Spent some time in Goa some years ago recommended. Flights at their cheapest are likely to run you £410 or so anyhow.

I would avoid north goa and stay in south.

It's more sleepy and relaxing and has fewer tourists.

The whole of north goa seems to be overrun by russians too, who aren't exactly the best bunch to be around. Not wealthy russians, but poorer and completely classless. The don't know how to behave in other countries. Not that poor brits do, but in general the average chav can't afford to travel beyond europe.

Sorry to brink the ice to you but London is s***** hole at the minute.

I walk through Chancery Lane in the mornings at 8am and bin bags are loitered all over the pavements, then again this could be your cup of tea perhaps.

Just saying like mukka

You sir are a legend!
Free Advice: No female should go there alone, this place has highest rate of rape cases in the world so be vigilant.
Great price and have been several times - but, found a week was not enough

Manchester?
5% TCB
Heat added!

Might be worth noting that if you are from the UK you will need a VISA and a valid UK passport. VISA apparently costs between £50-£100 (not 100% sure on price)

The visa is currently $75pp. It takes an hour or two depending on your IT skills!

Manchester really isn't that bad
I haven't been to goa for around 15 years now but even then the natural beauty of the place was being spoilt. It's far cleaner than the rest of the country but then again that's not saying much.

Have backpacked in goa, I think russians are more respectful to locals than british chavs, even though most of them are from working class in russia(goa is a cheap destination that most russians can afford).

I know your comment was about wanting the deal to be from london, but people should know before visiting that India is dirty and filthy, take care what you eat.
Goa however is safe in general.
Candolim is the best place I’ve stayed in Goa, and found food to be good with great choice even English food stayed in Whispering Palms AI , used to like Baga but it has got a tad busier mostly Indians, they messed around with the currency’s a while back so exchanging money was difficult and rate was bad, going to Sri Lanka in March for 1st time flying Sri Lankan airways and booked villa 2 wks under £800pp all in 5 of us, would have booked Tui but outrageous single supplements and transfercosts
