As much as completely agree with you, some of us are dependant on some medication whether temporarily or permanently. It's sometimes for quality of life, sometimes for survival.

I used to swear by modern prescribed acid blockers , omeprazole etc. but as mentioned they aren't intended for long term use . Why do folk expect a pharma company to sell stuff that works - they would be putting themselves out of business. Think about lifestyle and see a doctor.

garethfeldspar

I usually buy this from Tesco at a similar price

Adult

Does it? I hope it doesn't get lost among the dunes.

YesReally

There is a load of links on the web, but I have not seen any published studies. Tried it myself and recommended to a few friends/family and has worked for them. Better to take something natural imo.

Oh poor OP. Thought this underwear would have been right up your Alley Andywedgie.

Gentle_Giant

Isnt this waxed?? Unwaxed would be thinner.

andywedge

Yep, these things go one way or the other. Better luck next time @speculatrix

Bob_Green

Voted hot for the joke, shame it didnt work out the way you expected :(

andywedge

With Valentines being today and this item not being dispatched within 3-5 working days from date of order @speculatrix I fear your Valentines day may be ruined. On second thoughts, this not arriving until next Monday at the earliest that may be a good thing. Stick to flowers and chocolates ;)

dheydl

Not really. Doctors don’t know what causes it and why only some are afflicted. You can alter your diet to reduce acid build up to some extent but you will still need an inhibiting agent to prevent the actual reflux.

broadyo796

Much cheaper and healthier to address the issues that are causing the heartburn or indigestion.

panda098

Thsnk you, I just read the whole article -- isn't it quite bad? GERD can cauae Sinus infection, bad breath and etc

dataload

I'll only buy it if it tastes like germoline.

dheydl

Nah. Dr prescribed Advance. Said the ordinary stuff wouldn't work for my reflux. Online anecodotal evidence seems to support this. I think Advance has twice the dosage of Sodium Alginate. If Peptac matches the dosage and you aren't worried about sodium levels, then it might be a cheaper alternative but I think it is just mimicking ordinary Gaviscon. There are plenty of generic/Poundland antacids with the same ingredients.

Hey man Just saw your deal posted and wanted to say I wish you a speedy recovery. My mum has a similar situation where it makes it hard for her to even move around the house so I know hard it can be. Kind regards

The day HotUKDeals turned into a health forum. Live and let live.

trojan34

Lol no matter what I've had a laugh at ppl arguing about all this. Obviously not much else to worry about in life. Well done to op for effort. If everyone encouraged everyone instead of being negative. If only!

brum

? Throws what out of the window ? A ketosis diet is no different to any other diet when it begins. The initial weight loss is made up predominantly of water. It also is not going to help me recover from my operation as I need to consume a decent amount of whole food calories from an array of food groups. The amount of people waffling on about lifestyle this diet that.. It's a post about a fat reduction capsule at a price i cant find any cheaper ,which I thought was pretty much the idea of posting the deal ?

cburns

Ketogenic throws that out the window.... you lose the fat not just water Thoroughly research it all over the internet before I tried it.... because I could not believe it....lose the fat with no exercise Well....5mths.... 2 and half stone lost... and still going down... with little or no exercise....it worked for me And yes...I won't be going back to eating processed foods loaded with carbs... mostly sugar Or listening to carp advice about a low fat diet....though I will be exercising more... because I can now It's a whole lifestyle health change and it's backed by sound research studies....win win (y)

Hmm, I sense a business opportunity here. Buy a bottle, then just make copies of the receipt and sell them :).

3applepie

Just the price alone of the Peptac is enough to sooth your stomach compared to Gaviscon price.

copperspock

Ah I wasn't aware of that, might give those a try. Anything's gotta be better than fermented cabbage :).

JamesSmith

Heh... it's certainly not to everyone's taste. Interestingly though, you can get all sorts of different flavours that differ from South Korea's national dish but have the same health giving properties. I have a friend who makes what he calls 'goosegogs' - with fermented gooseberrys. There's loads of variation possible, from mild salsa-like flavours to fruit ferments. So long as it's swimming in Lactobacillus, it will help the body to keep a healthy state of intestinal flora.

copperspock

Kimchi, argh. I'd rather get heartburn TBH :).

kneale81

I used the spray and it stained, I waited until it had dried before getting dressed, but alas I sweat a bit when it's boiling hot abroad so it still stained some of my tshirts :(

I found the lotion stained a yellow colour but the spray was different and did not stain.
