Yeah and that's probably why there isn't a single review for this kit. …Yeah and that's probably why there isn't a single review for this kit. Hard to trust any recommendation these days. Never heard of them before either..

If you’ve not heard of Wera then I’d honestly say you won’t use the tools enough to justify the price tag

Is it not a bit expensive just for a small screwdriver set ?

It is a very high quality manufacturer with a lifetime warranty. I have built up a fair few wera tools and they never let you down.

Strange question really.. Not quite sure what you mean? Wera is a well-renowned brand for tradesmen and DIYers, do a quick google for more info.
Same price on ebay until Jan 3rd. Looks a handy little kit, I was tempted but have all the components already (although not with the little rock festival logo!).

He is correct. Wera is a really good brand.

LOL try just punching their name into Amazon and take a look at the reviews on any one of their items. Wera is top notch kit and has been for years.
Great tools, not cheap but excellent quality. I use 2 sets every day socket and 60ish piece version of this. Rarely have to open my traditional tool kit.
Wera and Wiha are both German brands. I have loads of tools from those brand, more from Wiha than Wera but still, both made in Germany (that’s why probably their prices are much higher than other tools), and their quality is superb. If you’re using tools at work than it’s worth splashing out more as it will definitely last longer
I have plenty of Wera bits and bobs, but this doesn't look like a very good kit IMO. The bit holder on the end of the larger driver is massive and (for me) would make access to many fixings impossible.

The bits will be good, but no better than any other decent bits.

I reckon you're paying for the fancy/cheapo case which most 'professionals' would bin straight away anyway.
The bit holder is a Wera 28 I think so not good for tight spaces, like you said

For a hobbyist or DIYer though, would make a decent present

Is it a ratchet? I think the other driver is the one for tighter access.
I don't think it's a ratcheting driver is it? It's just a driver with one of the fancy (MASSIVE IMO) Wera bit holders on the end. I think it is vaguely telescopic, but at full extension it's only as long as a normal driver anyway...

Never thought I'd see anyone actively try and take over from 'Loughborough-Guy'.

Great brand, but not sure what the point/USP of this particular set is. The Allen keys I'd recommend, but this not so much

It was released as a special edition in conjunction with the Wacken music festival, I think it's intended for general repairs in a muddy field! More info...

That's what came to my mind. 😃

Only not buying this myself because it would only be duplicating what I already own.

Sure.. it's designed as a small stand alone kit giving basic screw-type coverage and micro sizes to with the mini/micro driver, it's not meant for adding to a general engineers kit as has already been stated ..
