Just in case anyone wanted the Region 2 release instead, you could get that from ChoicesUK for around £124 if you used the 10% discount code plus got 5% Quidco.

What exactly is cold about 120 odd hours of superb TV?

More ignorant people not knowing how class this series is, people voting cold just because they don't know what something is and think it's too much seems to be a common occurance, if you can't accurately judge a deal people have no place voting at all really, just my 2pence

This series was superbly written and the casting was excellent.

Voted Hot.

Nothing, its the price and region!!!

25-50% cheaper than elsewhere..

Is there an active CD-WOW discount on top of the price btw, haven't checked?

Its not 25% cheaper at all - your not making a direct comparison. (Region 1 for Region 2)

Have a look in my sig :-)

Gary, get yourself a multi region capable DVD player (£20+) or look up the crack for yours. I haven't been stuck with a region 2 only player for the past 8+ years.
Unless maths has changed since I left school is it 25-50% cheaper than Choices or Amazon although you maybe right about it not being directly comparible. Region 1 DVDs frequently have extras on them not found on region 2. I appologise in advance If this is the case.

I have a region free DVD player thanks for telling me what i need tho!

Choice's and Amazon UK sell Region 1 do they?

A very valid point. I would be very surprised if many people using this forum only have a region 2 DVD player. As for the extras on the R2 DVD's, I rarely bother to watch these so they are wasted on me.

As it happens I am lucky to have all 7 series of West Wing at an average cost of £7'ish per boxed series (my bro-in-law goes to China a lot) but I still voted this offer hot.

Are you gonna buy this dvd Gary_rip??? or are you just trying to be the biggest **** of the day by posting complete & utter crap??

Don't know about Choices but Amazon do or more accurate their sellers do (although I have bought R1 from Amazon UK in the past)

Why you moaning eggs is not eggs when you've got a frying pan?

Nothing wrong with R1.
Unlike America, UK/EU doesn't have laws forcing region locks on players here, people are free to import.
