Wanted to buy this yesterday, but was out of stock. Saw this just now and ordered. Thinks for the heads up, OP.

Nearly ordered a 1TB one earlier today but didn't have bank card on me, thankful i didn't now as it was around the same price as this!
Ordered thanks.

what lovely dodgy stuff do you have on your hard disk to need a secure wipe of 2TB ?

a few passwords and sensitive docs would fit on a 256MB USB stick

Basically when data is deleted it isnt deleted, mearly marked as deleted but is still there and can be overwritten. There are quite a few products which will securely delete data but easiest way is to use cipher which comes with windows (i know its on xp but not sure about the others). It basically wipes the freespace on discs 3x (zeroes, i think ones then random data).....so on this drive its lookign at 60hrs lol.

M techy myself, so was just curious what you were using, Coz you can also do zero level formating but that takes forever as well.

It's not a duplicate post. Using the code on the thread above would have taken it down to £68.01. £65.86 would've been AFTER quidco.

This deal is for £66.49 using the code & £64.50 AFTER quidco

It's because I forgot to change the pricing. plus the other deal was expired

Perhaps you should have said that rather than making out I was wrong. When I said it was a duplicate post, your posted stated the same price as the original post.

even if it was the same price it wouldn't make it a duplicate as the other one had expired.

Because it was copied directly from my original post perhaps?? That is the price that would have been paid on my deal from a few days ago

Surely if it was the same price, and was back in stock, the original post should have been unexpired? Especially considering it had been made hot less than a day earlier?

when i apply 5% code, £10 delivery charge gets added to the bill???
